I walked 2 miles on a 4.0 pace today on the treadmill

Way to go! That's the pace I'm striving for but I'm only able to get in a mile right now at that pace before I start to drift backwards . I feel like I'm taking baby steps, but at least I'm doing it.

Keep it up thats a really good walking pace you could finish at a 5k or 10 k or even a marathon at that pace and they wouldnt come and pull you out of the race. I want to get up to a 4.3 walking when I started 4.0 was a running pace for me so Im just glad Ive learned to walk that pace. It just takes time i walk or walk/run everyday

I walked a half mile earlier and in a bit Im going to go up and walk as far as I can I would love to do 6 miles the farthest I have done is 4 and I was really motivated that day

Is it too late to join this group? I'm a lifetime Weigh Watchers member, but I need to lose about 10-12 pounds before I go back to a meeting.

Good now I have a weight watcher's buddy. Are you doing the points? I'm using the old points system.

I walked 20 mins at a 3.8 pace. Ive given up on run walking my marathon in Jan. The run/walking was just too hard and I didnt think I was going to be prepared in time so Im just walking so Im trying to get my pace up for that. I did buy a chair gym thing so I could start working out my arms. I have an ab glider that I can work out my abs I just havent been very motivated to use it mainly because it makes your arms hurt but hopefully after I work out my arms a little I can use it

Yes, the old points is what I do. It worked for me it the past, so I can't see buying the new books, etc. I need to get back on track and drop back to my goal weight so I can still be a lifer.

I'm thinking about buying an exercise bike. I hate treadmills, but I love to ride bikes, so I think I'd stick with a bike better.

I'm still sitting with this knee surgery. I got the syndisk shot the other day. I'm hoping it will help. After, I'll use the eliptical. I can't run anymore. When it's strong enough I'll try to do walks around the lake. I love the old point system. I'm down 10.5 lbs. and this is the first day of my fourth week. I log everything religiously. It's funny, when you don't use it for some time then start again it blows your mind how many points everything is, things you never thought would be so high. LOL.
