| The old point system weight watchers use to use is really good. I plan on doing it again as soon as my knee heals from knee surgery The key is also to do about an hour of cardio a day, instead of the reccomended 20 minutes and if you do eat over your points do extra cardio to make up for it. I"m in joining anyone dieting. I need to lose. I put on so much weight since my auto accident last summer. I just had my second knee surgery (Same knee) in less then a year. UGH. |

| In 2001 I finally reached my goal weight with WW,then I worked for them for almost a year and it created to much stress and I couldnt find time to workout. I also was homeschooling 6kids,so something had to go. If I can kill 500 calories,3days a week and stay within my points I can loose 1lb a week. For me its an energy issue now, hormones or the lack of. Im open to suggestions. |

As I said.....I'm game! I think it will really help keep me accountable but I can see where others would be hesitant. Quote:
I use the old point system as well. I don't really understand the new points as of yet.... I don't think I'm ready for an hour of cardio yet (unless it is in 10 minute bursts Quote:
Are you in the dreaded menopausal age like I am???? LOL I need to cut out or burn 8000 calories a week to obtain my goal. I think its do able ( that is close to your 500 calories but I need that per day to lose 1 1/2 pounds per week) I plan to walk and swim and jump my way slim!!

I will be the next brave soul........ I was 145 this morning (I'm only 5'2 BTW ) I want to weigh 125 by 12/30 and possibly lose more. My Dr. and BMI charts say I should weigh about 115. Last time I weighed that was 5 years ago......

| Medical rec is 104 - 137 for me. I can never get to or maintain 104 again and 137 is still heavy for my bone structure and body shape. I think 125 will be good
