| I did ok today. Shared some shrimp dumplings with bf, had 3 1/2 of them. From Fresh and Easy (frozen) they weren't bad actually. I may rebuy them sometime. Then a grilled chicken sandwich, *however* they put in bacon and cheese when we only asked for ortega chile to be added. I picked off most the cheese and took the fat off the bacon, but I did eat the bacon. and then I had two pieces of fried zucchini... with ranch. Then had two grilled fish tacos. Those were really good.

| My first "real meal" after the WMD was 1/2 a Banana Split for late lunch yesterday! Smart, huh? Actually, it didn't really set me back or anything. Was just dying for some ice cream for some reason and took the chance. They say bananas are good after tummy troubles, don't they? Guess I was well because like I said, luckily, no regression. The fruit and syrups were fresh and the chocolate syrup was to die for!!! A little whipped cream and cherry on the top and wow!

| I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | If you are starving after eating a high sugar meal, you might want to start adding a little protein more to the meal. Starving usually indicates the first stages of hypoglycemia, because your body made too much insulin in response to the sugar. Oatmeal might be a better choice of cereal, or at least something that uses whole grains.

| Grilled fish burrito. It was pretty small. But good. 1/2 a chicken salad again from Chipotle. Tonight I think I may just have a half bagel with lox. I'm not sure yet. Still full from that salad! What are they putting in there??? LOL

| Thank you! It is so hard eating right when I live with my father who has trouble keeping weight on. He also has a sweet tooth. Although he has a great basic diet, he eats a lot of fattening things in addition to try to keep from disappearing.

| Dr. Oz said on Tuesday that the single most dangerous food in our pantry is sugar. Causes more disease and death than even FAT in foods according to the current thinking. Said we should have no more than 6 t. sugar a day above that that comes in regular food - and I don't think he was including desserts in "regular food". Keep up the good work, Maximo, and don't quit should you slip up. Go right back to being healthy!

| I hardly eat sugar, does that mean I get to eat more cheese fries?

| Yea, ask Dr. Oz if you can eat more fats then if you lay off the sugar. If life is fair, you should be able to do that. My mother told me about sugar, milk and meat rationing during WWII. Milk!!! Woman with babies and children got extra coupons or tickets or something. Wouldn't miss the meat as much as I would the sugar and milk!

What you have had today so far is healthy. BTW, my father has a Vegas recommendation for you: last time he was there, he really enjoyed Frank Sinatra at the Sands. ![]() Such a comedian. Must be that bowl of Wheaties with cream and sugar he ate.
