| However, if this is how it is supposed to work and it isn't jacked up, I'm going to be royally p!ssed off that I spent more money for convection only to find it does nothing that a normal bake setting wont do aside from make more noise.

| MER8772WW0 I've called Maytag 3 times and got the same read-from-a-script response and no concern. I also do not remember noticing it doing this the first few times I used it. After the first week is when I noticed it, and it stood out because it was really obvious...the fan "clicks." How do companies with horrible customer service stay in business??

| Have you tried turning it off and turning it on again? Have you tried unplugging it and plugging it in again? ROFL!!!! That's what you can expect from pretty much all customer service nowadays.

| They asked me that too!!!! LOL. I laughed into the phone. I know more about my oven than they do, and the guy today told me "You are welcome to look it up in your owners manual. You got one with your oven." I'm a moron apparently. Calling customer service is the first thing I do...troubleshooting?? What's that??

| I just checked mine, it's a Kenmore. I pushed Conv Bake and set temp to 350, hit start and it automatically lowered the temp to 325 and the fan came on instantly and stays on the entire time. Now, my manual indicates to use Conv Bake for meats, food dishes but not recommended for cookies, cakes, etc.

| I have three convection ovens and the fan should run all through the baking cycle. |

| I sent maytag a disgruntled email. If I don't get a response by monday it's on. If this is what my oven is supposed to do, then I'm ok with that, but my issue now is with their customer service. It really irks me to be talked to like I'm an idiot by someone who is quite obviously reading his responses from a cheat sheet and doesn't let me finish my sentence before he interjects. I have a REALLY overly moist chocolate cake recipe that I bake using the convection oven. It makes it easier to handle when I'm stacking it. I haven't really found the convection oven dries out any of my cake recipes so far, at least not to the point that it alters how they taste. But that may just be because it isn't working right. It hasn't really made any difference in cook time for anything. It does, however, give them a nice crust on top, which I cut off when I level them anyway. Bonus: I really like the crust, so I get nice crunchy scraps, like cake chips! Pass the butter cream dip!

Here's something that happened to us. We got dsl at the new shop, they said the tech will be there at such and such day to hook everything up. Well he gets here and he says that the cables aren't connected and that he has to come back. Ok fine. He comes back and tries to hook up the cables, still no connection. Then ok he has to call into AT&T to see what's going on. Meanwhile they send us the modem, they end up sending us two, one regular one and one wireless one, ok...? They finaly hook it up and I don't know how they did it, but we don't get a bill for over 3 months. Finally one day we try to get online and everypage says to call ATT for some urgent message. Apparently we hadn't paid our bill that we never got for over 3 months, and we have to call this number. When we call said number, that do they ask? What is your account number, it is located on your bill. We say we don't have the acct number bc we never got a bill, but can you look it up under phone number? No. Address? No, only acct number then Let me transfer you to someone in CA, transfer, transfer, transfer, then finally we get a "supervisor" who says, Oh LET ME LOOK IT UP UNDER YOUR ADDRESS. Turns out the tattoo shop at 337 North was getting our mail and those ****'s didn't give us our mail, we are like 2 blocks away. We are 337 South. ATT customer service sucks eggs. Oh yeah, they also made us pay a late fee!
