| Even though my DH and I wet to HS together (it was a big school in NJ) he is 4 years younger than I we didn't connect there. My best friend moved from NJ to go school in OK. I went into the military. After the Military, I settled down in Texas. Mean while, my girl friends brother and his best friend graduated and started seeing the world. They ran out of money and headed to OK to his sisters house. My best friends Dad came and took her brother home, my DH had cooked up a deal with my Best Friend to renovate her house in exchange for rent. One Thanksgiving my BF was having a hard time because she couldn't go home to her family (no money). She can not cook! I volunteered to come up and cook. (During one of these calls to her my now DH answered the phone. I didn't like him. I thought that he was a jerk. I even told my BF she should get rid of him.) I came up from Texas to OK to cook and it was love at first sight! We got married on the next 4th of July. Last edited by Katys mom; 08-13-2006 at 04:25 AM. |

| I met my fiance' 7 years ago at a nightclub believe it or not. My Dad would always say that I couldn't meet someone decent in places like that, and he was right he is much much more than decent he is absolutely wonderful. He loves Georgie sooo much. He lays with him and gives him kisses and Georgie and Daddy love to play together

| I met my bf through some mutual friends at a club one night. While on vacation about 2 years after that, his parents bought a yorkie. From then on we had fallen in love with yorkies. It wasn't until we finally had a house that we got Kona (and then a few months later Bernie). Rob loves them as much as I do. He is the lucky one that gets to hang out with them all day.

| I met my husband when I was 18 and he was 26. We worked in the same sports bar. I was waitressing and going to college and he was bartending and working on his second degree. We married when I was 20 which is WAY too young but I guess I was really lucky because we are celebrating our 13th anniversary next month and he's my best friend in the world!

My exact story! We met online and bought two big dogs a while ago. I always wanted a little lap dog because when two 80 pound dogs want to sit in your lap, its not fun. So he agreed to get me Jax for my birthday and he fell in love with him. He says it is because of his personality, but now we talk about getting another one someday.

| Wow, its nice to know I am not the only one. My husband and I met on an online community also. Actually, i had met this other guy online and had planned a date with him. The jerk wound up standing me up so i went back online to give him a piece of my mind. My now husband sent me a note that day and I told him all about getting stood up by the other guy. We kept talking, exchanged phone numbers and the rest is history. He was the one who gave me Nikko as an engagement present.

| Back in my day in the early 80's late 70's we would get in the car and cruz up and down a main street in Littleton Colorado. Well me and my 3 other girlfriends went every Saturday night. We would see my these 2 guys at a shopping center and honk at them every time. They would just wave and smile. Well one day one of them gave us the signal to come here and visit. So we did. Then we met them every weekend for about 3 to 4 weeks until one of them asked me out and that is my husband! We have been married for 23 years! I love him to pieces! So my story is we met cruzing!

| First off let me say how we were both born in the same hospital 4 days apart. His mom was in there for 5 days, and I was born on the 4 day, so we probably met in the nursery...lol. Then when I was 2 my parents divorced and we moved about an hour away. Then when I was 15 we moved even farther away, while my mom still stayed in the city where I was born. Finally when I was 18, I decided to move back with my mother. I got a job in the mall when I was 18. I would get off of work and have these lil notes on my car from some admirer. I had no idea who it was. I thought maybe it was from some girlfriends playing a joke or something. Anyway, the notes continued for awhile. Almost 2 yrs later I was out with some friends and I ran into this guy that I have noticed around town before. We started talking. (we had some mutual friends) Then he went on to tell me he was the guy who was putting the notes on my car. I was shocked. We just seemed to click. 13 yrs later we are still together.

| I was dating my husbands best friend and he was dating mine. It was his senior prom and she stood him up and dumped him. I was furious at her because he was so nice to her. A couple of months later his friend dumped me and sarcastically said why don't you call one of my friends. So I did. We started dating and 2 years later got married. I'm the one that came out ahead. I no longer speak to my friend and he doesn't either.

| I met my dh through mutual friends when he moved here with his job and we became friends, never dating as we were both dating others. When the time came where we weren't seeing other people, he asked me out for an official date! One year to the day later, we married We've known each other 22 years and have been married over 20 of them We got our first furbaby, Katie, when we had been married for 2 years (had her before we had our skin kids). Her death was a crushing blow to not only me, but him as well (last time I saw him cry that much was when his grandfather died - who helped raise him). He did not want to get another but finally realized how much he loved the breed and knew that our home would not be complete without another yorkie in it - so we got Gabby, who we've had for over 9 years, and then rescued Gage last year......he loves yorkies as much as I do
