We got our first furbaby, Katie, when we had been married for 2 years (had her before we had our skin kids). Her death was a crushing blow to not only me, but him as well (last time I saw him cry that much was when his grandfather died - who helped raise him). He did not want to get another but finally realized how much he loved the breed and knew that our home would not be complete without another yorkie in it - so we got Gabby, who we've had for over 9 years, and then rescued Gage last year......he loves yorkies as much as I do
