how did you meet your partner i just wondered where or how you met your partners.and what do they think of your yorkie? i met mine in a chat room just over 3 years ago. he said he didnt like yorkies but after meeting mine he fell in love with them, he calls him self daddy and even though we have 4 yorkies he wants more:D |
We met on a blind date. I had my first Yorkie then and he loved him right away!:animal36 |

I met my boyfriend through a friend that I worked with. At first, I was interested because he's a year younger than me and all of my ex boyfriends had been older and very immature! But then I met him and were still together 1.5 years later :D His mom is actually Cali's breeder, so I didnt have her when we met. He always teases me that Cali loves him more..but he's sadly mistaken :D |
Hubby and I went to school together from 5 th grade on but never met till our Sophmore year when we both worked at the school in a youth program . We have been married since 1982, marrying the Dec after we graduated. |
he cam into a store i worked at i said hey do you have a girlfriend? he said no then i asked him well do you want one...lol no lie then i told him he looked good to call me gave him my # he called that was almost 9 years ago! he doesn't like my yorkies because they stay inside he's not really a pet person i guess he was raised that way i hate that about him! oh well he will get over it! |
I met mine at College.. we picked out Princess together after months of searching~ :) Even though she only sees him once a month, she gets SO excited to see him! More excited than when she sees me!! :p She's a daddy's girl ;-) |
I turned 40 last year and had a brief relationship with 2 men who were 6ft4 and 6ft2 and they were both scared of him and didnt like him and so they had to go but Oscar liked them, its was pathetic to see such tall men shudder when they saw him. Love me but you have to accept my boy. |
My mother worked with him and set us up on a blind date. We were engaged a month later :rolleyes: :p We've been married for 10 years now. My husband loves Tinkerbell and she is definately a daddy's girl. |
I met my husband when he was in the Air Force, stationed in Germany. He was on TDY in my hometown in the Netherlands. We met in a bar while the worldcup soccer was going on. I never thought that three years later I'd be married and living in the States. He loves my yorkie, but then again, he's the one who picked her out for me ;) |
I met my boyfriend at a concert- he was working security for the radio station that was hosting the concert and I was there with a friend. My friend and I talked to him and his brother and we arranged to go to dinner later that night. After dinner, we went to play pool (because nothing else was open on a Sunday night!) and had an awesome time! We exchanged numbers and he called me a couple of days later. More than 4 years later, we're still together and having a great time! |
sashajade, I met mine online too, on ICQ chat 5 yrs ago. Later fund out that he also work for my isp tech support. We moved in together 2 yrs ago with my bichon and a year later I bought my yorkie. He wasn't too happy about it, due to the small space we have in our one bedroom apt. But me being the woman of the house, I got my yorkie anyway. He loves dogs but not as crazy about them as I am. Now that we're living in a house. I told him I'm planning on getting another yorkie. He just give me the look and told me I'm crazy. Hah! :D |
My husband and I went to high school together we went in diff ways we meant again where my mother worked he work there also, he had a red firebird for sale so I called about the car and he called me back and then ask me out that was in 1984 and got married in 19985 been married for 21 years!!! And he loves all my yorkies he will doing anything for me or our children (2) and are yorkies. He's a real sweetheart. we have 8 yorkies |
We met at Starbucks!!!!:D :D :D Long story ,short.... Our first date was on 4th of July '02. And we have seen each other since then , every and each day. Lilo is our first doggy together, and we both are just crazy about her!!! |
1 Attachment(s) Okay this is kinda emberassing...:rolleyes: We met the summer after highschool, hiking in the mountains, under the stars on a warm night (all together now-*aaahhh*). I was with some friends going to a campfire spot, he was with another group of friends already at that same campfire spot. When we got to the spot, some of the people I was with knew some of the people he was with, so our groups combined and we met ... Okay the emberassing part comes here... While we were hiking my girlfriend and I had gotten hot and took off our shirts and were in our bras when we made it to the campfire spot. So the first time my dh saw me I was wearing my bra!!!! :eek: He still teases me about it!:p (We dated for 2 years and have been married for 4)-- Attatched is a picture of us at a wedding a few months ago. And he LOVES Keeley, he is the one who wanted a dog. They are buddies.:animal-pa |
