From my experience he sounds pretty immature. And KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF A GUY THAT LOVES TO PARTY AND DRINK!!!

Be sure, the right guy for you is already born and waiting. Not that this should be very comforting but I met my "right guy' after 3 other marriages and when I was 51. And now I'm the happiest gal alive! So... don't give up, you have to kiss many frogs until you meet your prince.

I understand, but he was never a drunk. I guess i'll just be the one to get over it. Even though he's madly in love with Zoey, that's his baby girl.

I was married 6 months to the day when my ex-husband walked out to go to a bar and never came back. He let me know via a friend of his what his intentions were. Obviously I was heartbroken (I was stupid!) and tried to get in touch with him to find out what was so suddenly (??) wrong. Again, via a friend, he agreed to meet me at my mother's so we could talk. Well.... while I'm off waiting at my mother's - he went into the apartment and took EVERYTHING out except my clothes, my animals and the bills!

I sat in an empty apartment at night in the dark holding on to my fur babies crying for months. I look back now and can't believe I'm the same person.

Hang in there. The days turn into weeks and time really does ease the pain.

Well, thanks to my ex's stuff..we have a whopping 50 bucks! Lol! Of course he was pissed but oh well! He's not mad anymore b/c i gave it to the Animal Shelter. They used the money towards buying new beds for the babies. I'm happy they did, becuase they needed new ones.

I'm actually doing great today Gina. Ever since I sold his stuff and redecorated my whole apartment..I feel so much better. Zoey is finally hyper again thank god. Lol. It's about time. Now if she sees him, she growls at him. I guess she knows he's a d***.

Thanks Gina. His mom must've found out, because she's calling me giving me advice. She never liked me from the beginning, and now she wants to act friendly..I had to hang up in her face.

Yup! All she was saying is "you could've done this or that in order to win him back" Excuse my french but.. "f**k that!." He's the one who dumped me in a friggin bar! And she had the nerve to say the things i could've done better! What kind of s*** is that? She deserved it.

I think you are doing everything right. (Sending Zoe to the doggie spa, you going to the people spa, selling his stuff and donating to the animal shelter.) This is really a positive reaction to such a negative thing!! He was a real coward, telling you in front of his friends, as well as a bunch of strangers. He needed his friends there to back him up. He doesn't deserve you, you deserve much better. But, in my opinion, you are coming out of this terrible thing in such a good way. Good luck to you!

Thanks Gina i am. I changed all the locks and installed an alarm system. My landlord wants me to get a bigger dog just to protect me since i'm going through hell. I think I should be fine with what i've done so far.
