That is hilarious. You go girl! Spruce up your apartment, Redecorate, You've started great with Zoey = Now go to a spa yourself, buy yourself a new outfit and go to church tomorrow and look for a nice guy that wants a home and family!

I agree with a previous poster about the live in arrangements. I'm not trying to be preachy but if you let a guy use you like that, you are not valuing yourself & I don't believe he will value you either.

You mentioned the racial issue. Well I'm white, don't know what color you are, but I think he's yellow.

I feel so bad that you were treated in such a bad way. It really does say a lot about his character. So my advice.... when you find yourself alone and thinking...don't just think of the good times. They are the easiest to remember and it makes us miss them more. Think of the times that were not good and realize you deserve the best and don't settle for less. It will help you get through this. Us females tend to think with our hearts instead of our heads sometimes and that is what gets us into trouble..

He didn't really use me at all. He bought stuff and help around also. He bought Zoey and I'm thankful for the good things he's done, but I just don't agree with the people he chooses as friends. He seems to think drinking every weekend with his friends is great, but it's really not! Oh well..i'm off to the spa with my mother, i'll talk to you guys later.

Oh and BTW..he's asian.

You deserve better than some guy that will dump you in a public place. It might be hard now, but remember in the future you will find someone who will make you a million times more happy.

Sounds like you are a strong person and will get through this and either move on to bigger and better things or find a way to make the relationship work where you are his priority. We are here for you and thankfully you have your precious Zoey.

Hi Danielle,

I hope I haven't offended you. I certainly didn't want to add to your unhappiness. I just meant that I thought his manner of ending the relationship was insensitive at the least. I should not have implied cowardly. That was just my first reaction and I realize I know very little of the details.

Perhaps, I phrased it poorly but do wish you & Zoey all the best.

wow, so sorry to hear about this! It's never easy to deal with a break-up or divorce, I have been there and it's not fun. Do you have any children together? Thats the worst when kids are involved, if you dont have any together then I guess concider yourself very lucky. I hope all works out, I guess if your meant to be together then everything will happen the way it's suppose to happen. Good luck to you

most likely he found someone else to mess around with . i'm not trying to be mean but why all the sudden would someone just break up with you after 3 years? BUT at least he broke it off instead of leading you on and cheating behind your back! i have had it happen before they cheat and end up elsewhere. it really hurt the 1st time but after that i pretty much expect it sad but true !
