I totally agree. Remember my scum bag ex, the one I caught with that tramp? Well, about the time I got engaged to my now husband, the jerk had the nerve to call me. It had been about 6 months since we had broken up and he called me to see how I was doing. I didn't pick up and told my friend who still talked to him to let him know I did not want him calling me anymore. I had moved on with my life and wanted nothing more to do with him. Would you believe the a@@hole called my cell at about 3 in the morning and left a message crying!! He said he was sorry for what happened and that losing me was the biggest mistake he ever made in his life. He knew I had moved on and hoped I was happy. He sounded drunk. Apparently he broke up with his little tramp and wanted to come crawling back to me. Sorry for the long story but my point is, just when things start coming together for you, the jerk will appear again begging you to take him back. My advice is if you feel yourself caving, remember how hurt and humiliated he made you feel at that bar. He didn't care enough about you to spare you that hurt and he does not deserve your love. I am so happy you are doing better and moving on. They say the best revenge is living well, and I can tell you that is so true. I am proud of you girl!!

Love the garage sale idea. You go Girl!!!!! I saw that once in a music video. I told my hubby if he ever does me wrong I'd do that. LOL

I'm sorry for the way he said good bye, but maybe you'll be better off without him. No matter how hard it is and no matter how bad you want to cry.... Dont do it in front of him. This will really bother him rather he admits it or not. Be just as cold as he is being. Then you can cry your eyes out when you are alone. Be strong and Good Luck!

Oh thank you so much. You're a strong woman yourself, so you deserve being proud of yourself also! One day maybe i'll find my prince charming, I guess i'll just wait until that day comes.

Sorry this is SO late but I just wanted to say I can totally understand where you are coming from. I am in my twenties and still dating. I have had 2 or 3 really bad breakups within the last 2 years. It's so hard to see someone new again and to just let them back into your life because you don't know if they will hurt you like the last jerk.

I have been dating someone for a month or so now and he says the sweetest things to me but I can't say the same stuff back because I am too scared.

You just have to take it day by day and it DOES get better. I am sure it felt great to redecorate your apartment, go to the spa, and pamper Zoey! I always love a trip to the mall when I am having a bad day haha. Or I just spoil Diamond

I am happy to see that you are doing so well! You will find the right person for you.

I divorced my first husband when my second son was six weeks old. I went from the doctor's office after my checkup to an attorney's office. He wanted to have his cake and eat it too.....at my and my sons' expense! Believe me, you're better off without him. If he does it now, it'll only get worse.

After 10 years as a single mom, Mr. Wonderful walked into my life. We were together 20 years before he died in Oct. '05. He told me when we married that I'd never have to worry about anything ever again and he meant it! He was wonderful.

Your Mr. Wonderful is out there, too, and YOU DESERVE HIM! ]
