The interesting thing is the artist that makes these is from LA and her assisstant came to our shop asking for chain trash donations. I could SO make these, and we had all the materials, but again, bf said no, so oh well.

The chandelier is incredible! Never thought of bicycle chains.

I love things made with piping, copper, chromed, cast iron. Even DIY is $$$ though.

I love cast iron too. We were looking for a cast iron bench for a while. I pretty much gave up. All we found was a mini one for kids (or dogs!). They are all lightweight and flimsy looking now. My dad has one in his backyard. It's been there for over 30 years and it's still perfect, except maybe needs new paint.

Love the cart too, I had one when first married and just loved it. I know I promised a picture of my new floor and it's down. So happy with it but the picture does not really show the shine, so I'll start with my server.

The top is split and when you open both sides it is a very large and is treated so very hot dishes can be placed on it. I keep my linens in the top two drawers and dishes and glasses I don't use every day. The pic shows the top closed.

That's classic / fun - and so nice and heavy looking! I too have seen really old ones that are just as solid as they ever were.

I have a table that seats eight when we have family dinners and my sil put it on wheels, for small groups I just don't open it.

Well here is the terrible picture of my bathroom floor, no matter how I change my camera to a different setting it doesn't look white and it doesn't look like it has a shine but my Son did a beautiful job even though the picture does not show it.

Still want a server like Ann ordered.

Yes and there is a tiny one on my server but hard to see, I have a couple more but I am not really a collector.

The color is not right, my carpet is a light beige and my chairs are yellow. Oh well.
