The second way is to make a pattern with the desired amount of space between each (if any) and lay that down and cover with packing tape. Then put the woven fabric you see on backs of mosaic tiles down and use the caulk to adhere the pennies to it. Essentially making your own mosaic tiles. Then you lay them like regular tile. We decided to change our minds on the penny backsplash bc we have these copper tiles that we were going to put somewhere else, but ended up not looking right. So we will eventually put those on the backsplash. As for our roof deck, yes full sun. Our furniture is teak, no cushions. We bought it used and the lady had it in full sun also. Teak is good at not warping like most woods would. It's very comfy without cushions. But still looking for a lounger and that would probably need cushions. Quote:
Here is our faucet. 1888673_10201868934708945_972811045_n.jpg We also have a stainless steel sink. Sometimes I wonder if I should have gone with the one big sink instead of the divided one we got, but the raised middle makes washing knives easier for me, so I think we made the right decision.

![]() Outdoor furniture is sooo expensive. I was really lucky and found both of our table sets for half price at Lowes and Target. The chairs for one set are heavy duty aluminum versions of the ones I really wanted. The real metal ones cost hundreds of dollar a piece.

We are still looking for a sofa, recliner, and or love seat. A lot of furniture we brought from home is too big to even fit thru the door. And our stuff is antique so u can't take it apart. I got it in OC at this store called Faucets n Fixtures. The brand is called Waterstone.

Do you think teak would wear well in full/dry AZ type sun? If so, I need to watch me some CraigsList! Like you, we love a fountain - we have a big front courtyard as the entryway to our house and have a huge fountain out there...it's our absolute favorite outdoor thing we have, by far. It's so great to sit out there w/ guests.

| ![]() I think teak is the best. Vegas is just as hot and dry as Az. It also gets really cold in the winter too. I don't think any other wood would hold up. That's why teak is so darn expensive. Well new anyway! And yes the faucet is in the new house. We had it bought for months waiting for the new house lol. I used to like Z Gallery but lately it's gotten a little too blingy and flashy for me. I like Restoration Hardware better but their prices are ridiculous. You can get real antiques for those prices and theirs are just reproductions made in India or Vietnam. Oh yeah, that drafting table it scored from an antique shop? It's Restoration Hardware lol. Got it for $100 and it's pretty much brand new. I wonder how the shop got it. There isn't a RH store in Vegas. Someone must have moved here w it and then sold it.

| ![]() How funny about your drafting table. I love Restoration Hardware, but I agree, it is so overpriced.

| ![]() I want to redo my bathroom and it isn't that large so working in a small space is going to be a challenge. I can do some of it or family but I will have someone give me an estimate of each task. This may just get me going. ![]()
