You'd be AMAZED how much money I used to spend on JUNK food!! It's so funny now when I go to the grocery store, empty my cart onto the belt, and stand there surveying my groceries and looking at how HEALTHY I eat! It's all right there in front of me! Then I glance over at the next isle and tick off in my head what THAT person should NOT be eating!! Makes you want to talk to strangers, LOL!

That is funny that you said that, because my hubby and I went to the grocery store the other day, and after everything was up on the belt I looked at it and I was just so PROUD! I felt like yelling out "hey everyone, look at me. I'm making good choices today!" I didn't of course, they would have hauled me away!

Lynn: I am sooooo glad that you decided to "come to our side"! You know that you have our full support in this. I know that you've been reading and just hope that you've printed off all that you need to get started.

I hope no one is looking for a "quick fix" here because I don't think it will happen. When you get the "quick fixes" and when you're done, you gain all the weight back again.

If you do this the right way and STICK WITH IT, you will not gain the weight back. But you HAVE to eat the right foods, eat the right portions, not cheat, and exercise.

Lynn, all this is not meant just for you - it's meant for everyone.

Congratulations, I'm glad you "saw the light"! Welcome!

We're a greattttttt support group. We all hold each other up.

I know some of the fruit can be expensive out of season but I still just eat apples, personally for myself.

But, don't think of it as being expensive, because you're saving bunches of money by NOT buying junk food! You're probably ahead of the game this way.

Are you eating something before you start with the water? Eat a bowl of cereal first. That might help take off the "edge" of feeling bloated. I can't drink water on an empty stomach. Ugh!

i never could eat breakfast, i always get sick, i'm up at 4:30am every morning i start work at 6:00 to much rushing around in the am. i try at eat around 10:00, i did bring some dry cereal to work me today to munch on, maybe it will absorb some of the water water, water, water,

Thanks for this Kelly - I need to do more water and you're inspiring me....The last time I drank ALOT of water - I worked full time and was in the restroom SO much - My boss threatened to Super Glue my BUTT to my chair

I hope your mom is going to be ok !!

I thought we had a lot more people than was on the 1st list.

I hope and pray for those that started that they'll stay with us for their health's sake. You can not go wrong with eating in the direction we're heading you to. It's very healthy.

Make sure you PM your stats to Glad. You can send them in and not be on the list that's sent out to others, if you so desire to not publish your own stats.

I am so glad that I started with this group. Today is hubby's birthday and I told him I would pick up a cake on way home. He said "Can you eat cake on your diet?" I told him I'm not on a diet, I'm eating healthy for life. I said I'd probably have a teeny tiny piece, but NO ICE CREAM. That's a big change for me, so I'm counting it as a positive one! And, I'm drinking extra water today to flush my body.
