I feel like the jury has to arrive at some sort of conclusion today, I really hope they do. I cannot imagine this phase going to a new jury....my gosh, to put Travis' family through that! I hope it doesn't happen.

I think she has a clue. When she told that reporter that when she granted him that interview she did not know he was a "hater" she told me just how calculating she really is.

I have a feeling that she has been coddled all of her life. I was thinking this morning how fortunate I was not to have had a child like her...I just don't know how I would have handled it. Being smacked with a spoon did not do this to her....I believe she was born evil. I am just now starting to feel a bit of compassion for her mother although I don't know WHY she did not get help for her when she was a minor. Who knows..... All I know is that if she gets out of prison I do fear what she could be capable of doing. She is a scary person.

If the jury does not give her death...and IF she gets a sentence that will allow her out of prison at some point, I wonder how they will feel when they see all of these interviews.

I didn't think the jury would have a conference. I feel so bad for Travis' family...they looked devastated. To think they couldn't come up with even life is unreal. It should have gone right to the judge now and it would be done with.

They must have changed their mind on doing the Press Conference. They had announced it, then they backed out of it.

I also believe that it should have gone straight to the judge as well.

I as well feel so bad for the Travis Family and all they have been through.

I'm so upset over this, I just can't bare thinking about his family going through this again. All I know is I'm sick of thinking of her, I can't begin to understand how they feel, and how tortured they are by her.

It was 8/ 4......4 hold outs for life. I think the family may want to compromise on a life w/o parole deal. Jodi's attorneys have the option to leave the case now, but I'm hearing they are going to stay till the end.

I didn't know this info was known bc the jury wasn't talking...is that accurate - 8/4, for sure? If so, wow. I thought there would be maybe 1 or 2 hold outs for life, maximum.

I can't even conceive how on earth they do an adequate trial just for the penalty phase. And what happens if THAT new jury is hung as well...does it go to yet another jury?

The jury foreman was on GMA he also said some jurors believed Jodi was verbally and mentally abused so that factored into their decision. If there is another hung jury Jodi will automatically get life, I'm not sure if the possibility of parole is an option with that. This is why I think the family should ask for that right now and end this.

Apparently she only saved those bad texts, emails and phone conversations among the tens of thousands of times they must have communicated digitally and by phone or face-to-face. Why were there no good ones of Travis played, where he was telling her how special and wonderful she was? To cherry pick only the worst and play only those isn't that indicative of their true relationship; or, once she was free from him and living far away, why then would she move close to him when he clearly didn't want her there or drive all those miles that one last time?

Truly abused women, once free and with no children crying for "Daddy", with ways and means to support themselves apart from the man, don't tend to keep returning to him. Sure there were some abusive words but that's all we heard - what if all the rest of their communications were Travis building up, expressing love and supporting Jodi Arias? I don't know how anyone can say Travis abused her if she willingly and against his will kept throwing herself at him if she didn't enjoy and find titillation in that type of interplay. I think she likely encouraged it. She could have told him she got a dirty little thrill being treated like that. Otherwise, she would have hung up on and blocked his calls, texts and emails and never seen him again.
