2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Any savvy ebay users out there? Help ... I made my first purchase on ebay and am very pleased. I got a pair of mens American Eagle jeans for my son for just .99 plus shipping for a total of $6.69. I am on a mission to find my son new jeans before the beginning of the school year. Plus see whatever else catches my eye. I have my own bright idea of waiting until the last 10 mins or so to place my bid or to bid the highest that I am willing to pay and hope that I dont' get out bid. That being said any other helpful hints that may help me win my items? I also would like to start selling my own used items like (AE, Gap, Aeropostal, Levi and other name brands) Im confused about what is the best way to sell my items without taking a great loss on them or having to pay outrageous fees. I want to get a reasonable price for my name brand items without feeling like I just got ripped off. So, how do I do that? I have been looking for a link to previous items sold by others that would give me an idea of what they are selling for but I can not find one. Is there something like that for me to search similar items? Other Questions: What is the best selling strategy that will get me the price that I want or close to it without all the fees? Plus the 50 items per month.... does that mean that I can list any time during the month being the 1st or whenever and the sale will still end on the last day of the month? Any all suggestions on how to become a savvy ebay seller and buyer would be greatly appreciated!

Sometimes someones watching the Bid and puts another one in But when that happens eBay puts another minute on the clock and I Bid again. I put in the minimim to Bid and Bid up Because m trying to get it for the cheapest price possiBle. Ive gotten koi that were worth 100 for 20 dollars that way

| Amother thing i do is when it says Buy now or make offer I make an offer and I put in half of what there asking and there was only one time where they didnt accept my offer. If you put an item on a watch list you can check for similar items. Over on the side By the item it will say view similar items

| When I said i Bid with a minutle left put in the max I want to Bid it is other times when Bid earlier that i put the minimum trying to get it for the cheapest price Because sometimes when someone sees theres another Bidder they dont Bid on the item and you get it for that low price. That also allows me time to consider if i want to Bid higher on that item if someone else Bids or if i want to put a Bid on something else

I've never sold on ebay, although I should just to clean out unused items. I know ebay does have a forum, I'm sure you could get lots of tips there on selling. Both sellers and buyers have discussions, some of their discussions are very entertaining

My dh and I have been using Ebay since it started and we do this too. We've never had ebay put more time on the clock. Another tip...Don't bid in even dollar amounts. If you want to give 10.00 as your max bid, make it something random, like 10.57. That way you don't put a max bid of 10.00 on it and lose it for 10.05.

| Just use esnipe. So much easier. I've won many times with this service. You only have to pay 1% of the total bid win. If you don't win, you don't pay. They put in your bid 6 secs before the end of the auction. Often times if I don't put in my bid on esnipe, I forget what time the listing ends, and I end up losing out. With esnipe you don't have to worry as long as you've put it in esnipe. Also, a biggie, if you change your mind before the 6 secs, you can cancel your bid. If you put the bid in through ebay you can't retract your bid, except for a few specific reasons. Also not putting your bid in directly with ebay doesn't let others know you are interested in the item.

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | In leu of ebay I also make trips to our local Goodwill store to find name brand clothes. Every now and than I manage to find items that are in great condition. I just went yesterday and got three brand new t's a dress shirt and a pair of Levi jeans for my son for only 10.50 and no shipping like on ebay. I have my eye on a few items on ebay that expire in a few hours. Lets see if all of your strategy and advise works.

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | I bid on and won a few more items on ebay. They were not exactly what I had expected . One pair of jeans were totally ripped on the hem line at the bottoms. The seller never mentioned it at all. Another pair had to be from the 80's (not pretty). I have been going through my garage sale items and pulling things that I think will do well on ebay. I set up a hanging rack and bought a set of shelves and set them up in my basement. Getting everything organized for when I start selling. Waiting on my new computer. I would appreciate any more input! Keep it coming....

| You can click on "resolve a problem" on your my eBay page and open a claim about the item received is not as described. On the line of the item in the "items won" section, click the drop down menu and you will find the resolve problem button. |

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Yea, I saw that but I just left a short and honest feedback comment. No need for "resolve" . There was a no return clause on the item. Not worth the trouble!
