I've bid and won many auctions on ebay. I usually wait until there is less than 1 minute on the clock to bid. I bid the highest I would be willing to pay for that item. So, even if others are bidding, unless they're willing to pay more than I do, I win and usually for much less than my max bid. I've been doing this for years now, and ebay has never put more time on the clock. I know Qui bids does add time, but I've never known ebay to. Wondering if it's only for some items?

I've never sold on ebay, although I should just to clean out unused items.

I know ebay does have a forum, I'm sure you could get lots of tips there on selling. Both sellers and buyers have discussions, some of their discussions are very entertaining
