I made my first purchase on ebay and am very pleased. I got a pair of mens American Eagle jeans for my son for just .99 plus shipping for a total of $6.69. I am on a mission to find my son new jeans before the beginning of the school year. Plus see whatever else catches my eye.

I have my own bright idea of waiting until the last 10 mins or so to place my bid or to bid the highest that I am willing to pay and hope that I dont' get out bid.

That being said any other helpful hints that may help me win my items?

I also would like to start selling my own used items like (AE, Gap, Aeropostal, Levi and other name brands) Im confused about what is the best way to sell my items without taking a great loss on them or having to pay outrageous fees. I want to get a reasonable price for my name brand items without feeling like I just got ripped off.

So, how do I do that?

I have been looking for a link to previous items sold by others that would give me an idea of what they are selling for but I can not find one.

Is there something like that for me to search similar items?

Other Questions:

What is the best selling strategy that will get me the price that I want or close to it without all the fees?

Plus the 50 items per month.... does that mean that I can list any time during the month being the 1st or whenever and the sale will still end on the last day of the month?

Any all suggestions on how to become a savvy ebay seller and buyer would be greatly appreciated!
