Mmm, the Vito used to be my fave before I stopped eating meat. Don't like capicola though. Now I loooove the veggie one. Oh my goodness, it's amazing. If you're close enough to a JJ's here, they deliver.

Tempura..isn't that just fried buttered batter or something?
I think that's what I had a sushi place (the only thing on the menu that I would eat). I think it was veggie tempura. It was good, but so heavy that I can't even think about eating it now.

And the miso soup with beans, I kinda didn't get the point.

Don't way i didn't warn you. ps, the soft orange part is the only edible part.

Tempura is light fluffy batter. If it's dripping in grease it was probably chinese style! We chinese love to make greasy food!

Lol. I don't miss it that much, it's hard to explain (except for those dang Arby's, obvs). I grew up on meat and potatoes, but liked carby stuff much more as a kid.

The tempura looked breaded.
It was just so heavy. Yummy, but my stomach disagreed.
But they gave me this amazing dipping sauce with it.

Eww, gelatinous? I don't think it's supposed to be like that. It's like peanut butter custard. And yes, I don't like a lot of wasabi, you're right it masks everything.

You know what's funny? i think pb and j is disgusting. LOL!

Bf was scared about lengua too, but he tried some recently and he liked it. he is the pickiest eater too! It's beefy, soft, with a tiny bit of chew (but it's not chewy, if that makes sense). I actually like eating fat, so lengua is perfect for me, it has that melt in your mouth feel that the fat around the edge of a prime rib has, but it's not fat, it's meat!
