| ![]() Wow! I feel more "normal" after reading this. I thought I was a bad vegetarian for often thinking meat sounded delicious. Oh, and thinking it smells delicious too...I just don't think I could ever eat it again. It's the really gourmet stuff I miss too...like Taco Bell (which I'm convinced was made with the lowest grade of beef fit for human consumption, but YUM!) and even though I've heard the Arby's rumor about liquid beef...an Arby's sandwich with Arby's sauce and some curly fries... ![]() I don't really miss steak or chicken, and I never cared for fish. I seriously think I miss bacon the most! Does anyone know of any decent vegetarian marshmellows? It was hard letting go of my Lucky Charms, but I'd like to be able to make smores now and again. ![]()

I don't think I could ever be a vegan though. The dairy replacement...eh. Oh but chick'n Quorn...mmm. I want a ham replacement, but most of the soy "meats" make me queasy. The Ives salami didn't do a thing for me either. It kinda smells like Pupperoni. lol.

I don't think I could ever be a vegan either. I don't like the soy "meats" either. I've never tried Quorn, but I feel like I had a friend who was a vegan who warned me about those products for some reason...I should look into that. I actually prefer a portabello mushroom in place of meat on a burger and then just add all the stuff I would have added to a burger. I really don't notice the difference especially when I can smell the meat from my fiance's burger. Kind of weird how you can trick your brain like that!

| ![]() They probably warned you b/c it is a type of fungus that some are nervous over. It causes stomach upset and even vomiting in some and the FDA isn't crazy about it as far as I know. Other than that, it's all good. lol

| ![]() Anybody else find it funny that most everyone on YT hates the idea of by-products in dog food but doesn't mind bully sticks? One brand flat out says: Ingredients - Meat by-product. lol. Just had to share. ![]()

I think the last time I bought in bulk the label just said "Ingredients: beef pizzle," which might have phased me if I didn't already know what they were!
