The tempura we have is always very light - you just see a smattering of it, not heavy at all. It doesn't look "breaded".
I don't use any soy or add wasabi to anything at all - I always think it masks all the little nuances of flavor. Don't you think? I don't know why I didn't like the Uni...it was sort of...lol...gelatinous? I think it was a texture issue  ! |
Eww, gelatinous? I don't think it's supposed to be like that. It's like peanut butter custard. And yes, I don't like a lot of wasabi, you're right it masks everything.
