I think Adam deserves to go home after tonight but too many people like him so I doubt he will. So I would say michael could go home too.

I have to agree that Adam's delivery of that song was a bit weird. I thought Kris and Anoop did well tonight. Danny of course did another outstanding job. As for the girls, they were all in a tie. I think Lil probably has the best vocal out of the girls.

I have to totally disagree! I loved the performance! It was so cool! Didn't it remind you of the 60's? What I love is that he said true to himself, just like when Chris Daughtry did Walk the Line by Johnny Cash. He made it his, and I think Adam did too! He was AWESOME! He is very original. Ok....can you tell I like him. The range in his voice tonight was great.

Actually, they were all great tonight. Not one performance was terrible. They did a great job.

I agree. Adam was horrible last night and was just so plain weird that I don't really care for him after that. I thought the best ones of the night was Anoop, Alison and Kris.

Adam bombed last night. He creeps me out each and everytime I see him.
I just don't know who he is! In the past, no matter how good you did in
past weeks, if you had a bad night you seemed to go home.
If this is any indication than Adam is going home tonight.
If not I pick Lil to go. Everyone else I thought did a great job expecially

I wasn't going to watch but they had it on at a St. Pat's party I was at but missed Michael. Although I love Kris when they said to stick with the guitar last week, I though there goes that talent.

Anyway I am soooo excited about Anoop, he was great and I now have him in a tie with my Kris and Shirley I liked Allison the best of the girls as well.

I guess I will watch again, it is getting exciting. Anoop from zero to hero:D

I agree, I thought his song was brilliant in some ways, yet horrible in others; I do think he is a true artist, and knows himself better than some of the other contestants. He doesn't seem to want to compromise, and give the public want they want, and I admire him for that because to me that's what real art is about. There are some painters who paint beautiful pictures, and some who can express a feeling. He always entertains me though, but I'm worried that he won't get enough votes to stay in the competition. I don't care if he wins the title; I just want to see more of him. I haven't a clue who they will send home, some of my least favorites did the best.

You are right. and to be honest with you when he started singing I was almost enchanted. The idea alone was priceless but then he switched gears and as far as I'm concerned he lost it. If he had stayed true to the Eastern influence it would have been a real smash hit! As I recall David Cook did a haunting version of a song last year that won me over to him!

Country week is always my favorite week and I like Randy Travis.....so it was fun to watch him mentor the contestants and he is so genuinely nice....had to laugh at his reaction to Adam.....definitely a far cry from what the good ole country boy was used too...LOL

I thought they all did pretty good last night. If i had to pick who I'd like to see go home it would of course be Megan....i just dont like her. At least she didn't throw her arms all up and around in the air last night....but I just dont get the fascination that so many have with her voice...I just dont get it. The big surprise for me of the night was Anoop!! I have not liked him at all thus far this season and I actually thought he was one of the best of the night....he did awesome on the WIllie song...and I would have never pictured him doing that well. Course I liked Danny, Allison, Matt and Alexis....even thought they gave her a hard time...I thought she did great. Adam....what else is there to say about him other than he is a showman.....I can't say that was a song that I'd listen too....far too dark and dreary for me...but it was so Adam style...and he is in a league of his own I think. Wasn't impressed with Scott or Lil.....Scott is really starting to bore me.....and Lil it just wasn't her genre of music....so I hope the voting doesn't reflect that because she deserves to go further. I guess if I had to pick someone other than Megan to go home it would be Michael...and its a shame because I wanted to see him go further....but I think country week should have really been his week to shine and I didn't think he did very well last night at all. He definitely choose the wrong song to showcase his country charm. So now that I"ve gave my two cents worth...it will be intersting to see what happens with the voting tonight.

It really should have been michael. I was disappinted in her performance last nght but she is better than some of them. I think they ought to get to sing a new song too. Obviously if the judges didn't like them the first time they prob won't again

What?!?!? Alexis went home. I can't believe that. If anything, I think Michael should've gone home. He's a very nice and likeable guy, but I think Alexis has a better voice than he does.

I have to agree with this post! I wanted to dislike Adam's version of this song but I was actually as someone put it enchanted by it!! Not that I like punk rock but I so wanted to dislike Adam's version but I think he was very true to himself and I liked it!
The others were good and I'm sorry to see Alexis go home. At this point it's gonna be hard to see any of them go. So talented...

So disappointed to see Alexis go home tonight:( As much as I would have liked to have seen Michael go further in the competition....country week should have been his week to shine and he didn't and he should have went home. I honestly think they should have used the save on Alexis to give her the opportunity to do the AI tour. I think Simon is making them "save" the save for when Megan gets voted off....I can slmost guarantee if she is voted out that it will be used on her. i can't believe Allison was even in the bottom three tonight either. I know that someone has to go home every week....but I just think Alexis should have been able to stick around long enough to make the tour and I think it s ashame they didn't save her. How do they expect her to wow them with a song they were not already impressed with....complete craziness....but thats AI. LOL

I was very sorry to see Alexis go home and I thought she would last longer. I also doubt they'll use the save until further along in the season. Next week is Motown so that should be a good one.

Next week should be great with all those great songs to pick from but remember it's Wednesday and Thursday.

I have replayed Adam's performance and it does kind of grow on you. His vocal range is amazing. I am not a rock fan either. I just hope he will sing some songs a little more mellow like Cris Daughty did.

Matt can really sing too but his personality does nothing for me. I wish he would shave. Silly I know but I just don't care for the scrubby beard look.

But I absolutely loved Tamyra's duet with Justin... and I'm far from being a Justin fan. Kelly Clarkson's good, but I had thought Tamyra deserved the win back then. I still love her now. I was never able to find her album way back, but I am now reminded to shop for it tonight! As for most of the other performers... I've never seen them before in my life. I must have missed out more seasons than I thought after my favourites keep getting dropped before I feel they deserved to be. :rolleyes: Unless, of course, they weren't previous AI contestants, then that would explain it. :p

I too LOVED Tamyra Gray and she went on to have a wonderful career as well. At the time I thought she should have won but they both were great.. I think that is C.C.

Does anyone know whatever happened to Allison's recording contract she won in 2006 (along with a cash prize of US$50k) after entering a Spanish televised version of AI? She must be out of contract now in order to compete in this show, right? But does that mean she has a CD/album out? In Spanish? In English?
