Hey all, I'm jumping in here. Danny has been my fave since the beginning, I thought he was super tonight.
I thought Lil was going to be the last one standing, but why she sang Celine is beyond me. She did look lovely, but i wish she would have done MJ Blige as Simon said.
I am not crazy about Scott, but I thought he did a great job tonight. (That is Dh and my song, so I guess I couldn't hate it.)
Allison is always great, Hated the outfit. White shoes before Memorial day? Really!!!
Annoop Dog was OK, but I'm not thinking he will win.
I actually liked Meghans song tonight but she should be in the bottom 2 and I think Matt will be there also. At least she didn't wiggle!
Chris is a cutie, and I liked what he did tonight.
Adam is pretty amazing, But the Elvis look was just strange tonight. I do think he will be up there in the top 3, but not sure if he will win. Does everyone vote? I did last year, but haven't started this year yet.

I loved Allison outfit...fitting for a 16 year old :) Not wild about the hair LOL...but she's just being a teenager LOL...heck I've already worn white already lol...I love Billy Joel but Scott just didn't do it for me on a great Billy Joel song LOL...I'm so glad Megan didn't wiggle that is annoying lol...go to broadway......I love Adam of course his vocal range is just too amazing!

My favorites are still Danny and Adam. I think the bottom three might be Megan, Lil and Anoop or Scott. Alison can really sing but she just doesn't do that much for me. Megan as a unique voice but she keeps choosing poor songs.

They're my favorites also but a few days ago I couldn't decide. Allison has a great voice but I don't think she'll win and she's as cute as a button. I missed most of Adam's performance last night. :( Who caught Paula's comment about Scott? A few weeks ago she said that he needed to stand up and perform some and last night she denied it when Simon brought it to her attention.

I think Matt will go home but I also think that as nice a voice Anoop has he is alittle TOO confident if there is such a thing. Once you start telling the entire panel of judges you don't agree with them, it's the kiss of death. He is an only child and probably used to getting his own way. Last night they were hard on him for some reason other than just his song and they see these young people on a day to day basis.

I didn't vote for any girls last night.

I'm going to sound a bit like Simon right now.
I didn't hate Adam last night but I still don't like his singing. Last night I think I would have voted for Kris and Danny. (I can never get through.)

My take on last night's performance...

Adam - He did really well and I'm glad that he tamed down his looks. I know he has an amazing vocal range, but I wished he would stop with the high pitched vocal at the end (to me, it almost sounds like he's screaming or wailing...or something like that).

Anoop - He has a really nice voice but it sounded too much karaoke. I wouldn't be surprised if he was on the bottom 3 tonight.

Lil - Just wasn't too crazy about the song she picked, it's just not for her. I'm having a very difficult time trying to figure who she would be as an artist.

Matt - I really liked the song he picked, but it was little too karaoke. I know he likes to sing songs like this, but what he needs to do is pick another song that's more mellow and then spice it up, make it his own. It's likely that he would be on the bottom 3.

Allison - She has an amazing voice, but the outfit she wore last night and that hair piece really distracted me from her performance. The whole time I was thinking, what the heck is she wearing.

Megan - I think she did terrible. Once again she picked the wrong song and it just didn't go with her voice. I hope she's on the bottom 3.

Scott - I was never a big fan of his, but I have to say he did really well last night. And of course, love the new hairdo.

Kris - I think he did really well last night and may be one of the final 3.

Danny - I think he did really well and will probably be one of the final 3.

If I recall correctly Paula had just told Scott that sometime during the finals she would like to see him perform without the piano. Scott agreed and said that he planned on doing that with one of his future performances, if he continues on. If I were him I just would not worry about. I think if he feels comfortable behind the piano then he should do what he is doing. He is a nice guy but not one of my favorites.

I thought Matt's performance was awkward with him planning that keyboard and having all those people standing around him.

Kris has a nice voice but there is something about the facial expressions he uses while singing that turns me off. He just does not seem natural and relaxed when he sings, like he is struggling to reach certain notes.

I know what you mean and just wait awhile because I just hated his singing and now I am coming around BUT that has never happened to me before:confused: Of course I would never like hime better than Kris.

Hint a 12 yr. old gave me. Call while they are doing the replay at the end and you can get through, it has worked for me.

I agree 100% and I hate it when they start sounding off at the judges. Kara had a stunned look on her face when he did that.

I thought Allison was very good last night but I especially loved Danny. I try to listen to them and think "Would I want to buy that CD?" and with most of them the answer is no, I wouldn't. I really do enjoy Adam. He is extremely talented. Those are my top favs.

Dear Meghan, please stop singing. I find it painful to listen to you. I sound better than that when I'm washing dishes or in the shower.

I think people must be voting for her because she's beautiful. But, as Simon says, this is a singing competition...and she can't sing well.

I agree with most everything you've said here and I to would like to see Adam do something without the high pitched ending. I'm also glad he's toned down his appearance.

I haven't quite figured Megan out yet but I felt sorry for her last night when she had the tears in her eyes.

Was happy to see your post. I thought I was the only one that find it difficult to listen to Megan and I hate her little "swishy" moves. Yes, she is beautiful girl, but that's where it stops. JMO
Adam if fantastic! His individual style and appearance might take some out of their comfort zone, but he is unbelievable talented with an incredible range. I too like Danny, Kris and Allison.

I just have to say I love Allison but the dress kept screaming FLINSTONES! What was the stylist thinking OMG!!!

I always love your critiques and think you are always right on target, however this time I had to disagree about Adam, I know many people don't like what may seem to a scream or wail, in his songs, but this is the thing that I find so incredible, he has such control over his vocals when he's yelling like that, and to me, it a very exciting to hear this "scream;" it's one of the things that makes his voice so identifiable. I'm not kidding after he does this, I'm just in awe, and this is one of the things I love about his voice. He got my attention with his unusual looks, but he will keep my attention with his incredible voice. His songs aren't just pretty and pleasant to hear, they are exciting!

I'm 57 and I love Adam. His vocals amaze me and I'm entertained every time he steps on stage. Danny was my second but he's getting a little to full of himself. Last night was the first time I liked Kris. I'm afraid Megan will be safe this week because she is stil the pick on the Vote for the Worst web site.

It's not that I don't like his screaming, I actually do like it, but I just don't think he needs to do it with every song. I guess that's what makes him so unique compared to the other contestants. :)

I agree with you and Nancy both. I think his range is awesome and he has a natural talent. You can't learn that from a vocal teacher. However, I would like to hear him do something that ends on a soft note at least once. I'm well into my 60s and as I've said before, he's fantastic.
