No one was bad tonight...Anoop does well with the slow songs, but I am just ready to see him go..he's really just "okay" and I just don't like his attitude. I'm thinking it will be Anoop, Lil, and Matt in bottom three. Allison was awesome, Adam was good (he's growing on me..but i like allison much better), and Danny was really good too. |
I think Adam is amazing, I love watching him perform. I was disappointed in Danny's performance tonight but I still like him. I thought this was Anoop's best performance to date. Those are the three I voted for. The others do nothing for me, I can take them or leave them. I agree it is time for Lil to go. |
Does anyone have the link for Adam's performance. I missed last nights AI. I had to take DH out for his b-day dinner and I didn't set-up for the show to be recorded. |

BTW, is it just me or everytime I see Lil she has a completely differently hairstyle which totally throws me off. I think Adam, Anoop, Danny, and Allison did really well last night. |

Oh yeah and I didn't like the way the judging thing went. Maybe they just made a mistake by adding a 4th judge. Plus they could can the openeing act when they all sing together. That always seems so corny to me. Like a high school musical or something. I didn't even see if they did the opening thing last night because I was trying to hurry and clean up dinner before the show started. |
I like Adam so much - even when I think he has gone a little bit overboard, I can't help but love his voice. And he is such an entertainer that I can't take my eyes off of him. I love him. I thought Allison was good last night too. Danny disappointed me, but I like him; especially sans glasses. Anoop did well. The rest - not so much. Kris was good, but I find him to be uninteresting overall. |
Paula's review of Adam was confusing to me, until I heard Simon review. She said something like: "The reason you are shaking up this competition is that you dare to dance in the path of greatness. Fortune rewards the brave." :rolleyes: I think she was trying to say, in her own special way, that taking risks is fantastic, and sets you apart. Simon seemed to be saying, half of America won't like you because you take too many risks, play it safer. Simon mentioned Too "Rocky Horror Picture Show." Oh, I want to see a remake of that with Adam. They did a movie From Justin to Kelly, (:thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown) maybe their next should be a remake of the Rocky Horror Show, or maybe not. Obviously, Cowell wants to attract the widest possible audience, not the most dedicated fans. He liked the performance and even said the vocals were brilliant, but was worried others wouldn't like it. By the way, I wonder if Paula googles quotes before Wednesday's show, her quote, just didn't seem spontaneous. :D |

Adam was amazing to watch last night. It's making me seriously contemplate catching the AI tour just to see him perform! That would probably mean a couple hour drive each way down to Washington or even further, to Oregon. I hope they get to perform all of their competition songs on top of their first album releases but I somehow doubt that would be the case. For those who have gone to the AI concerts, how many songs do each of them sing? And also, do they sing just the "best of" during the competition or do they get to sing them all? I know they probably pair up a couple of them to do duets like they paired up Carly and Michael from last season. I can totally see them pair Adam with Allison, but I'm wondering what kind of song they will rock out together. :dribble: I really didn't like Lil this week. :( But I can also see how her feelings were hurt and she was just trying to deal with that in her own way. They sang some of my favourite songs this week. I LOVE Bryan Adams and then, that's about the only Aerosmith song I listen to. For those three, I still prefer the originals, but the idol performances were alright. |
I loved Adam. I live to Tuesday nights to see what he is going to do next. I thought the rest of the show was boring. I predict Lil, Anoop and Matt will be the bottom three with Lil going home. |

Adam was fantastic last night as usual and I thought both Allison and Anoop did really well. As for the others, they were OK except Lil and she was terrible. It's time for her to go home! |

Well, seems I'm late...but they haven't played the results show yet.;) Adam has really grown on me. I find myself looking forward to seeing what he's up to! I think he has a shot at making it pretty big no matter what happens with idol. I also really like Kris, but I'm worried about his chances after last night. I agree with many of you about it being Lil's turn to go home, but if you believe dialidol.com, she won't even be in the bottom three:eek:. According to them it will be Allison, Matt and :eek: Kris. Lets hope they are wrong! We alway TIVO it then start watching it a little late. I like to time it so that we finish up about the same time the show actually ends. This allows us to fastforward through the commercials, Paula's endless babble, the corny 70's variety show style group performances they do. It also lets me replay my favorites over and over and over. And yes, we watched Adam 3 or 4 times last night...He REALLY does have talent. Well, only time will tell. I sure hope Kris sticks around for awhile longer. |
