Megan just ate crow by being mean to Simon. I do not think he would have saved her though. She was my least favorite American Idol contestant. |
I agree. She stinks and she dug her own grave. We can be sure that we will never hear from he again. She will never make it big. Why does Paula have to get up and dance. Can't she control herself. There is something wrong with her. Can she droan on and on anymore? No one cares, she's annoying. Watch Simons face when she goes on and on babbling about nothing. |
I can not believe allison was in bottom three again!! Wth??? She's so good! I'm going to miss megan. I like her voice a lot. Was really hoping it would be anoop. |

I would have been most shocked if Megan did not go home tonight. I like Megan - personality wise usually = but she was just goofy tonight = not a good career move on the way to go out - I just don't know what she was thinking |

I was glad to see Megan go...her voice insulted my ears. I have no idea how she made it as far as she did. She was different, that's for sure. Can't believe she dissed Simon like that when the judges can change their fate... |

I think she was caught up in all the emotion of leaving and ready for it. She always handled their comments before. She's a smart girl and would know what she said would hurt her but maybe didn't care. It was nice she made them give her time to thank everyone and all her friends there. You could tell, they all cared alot about her. Thanks to both of you for letting me know what was said, even Simon didn't hear it. |
Even though I thought Megan was unique, I agree that it was her turn to go. At least she will get to go on the tour for a year. I wonder what that is like for them. Have any of you ever been to a idol concert with all the finalists? I wonder how many concerts they do during the year. Megan seems thrilled that she would get to go home and be with her daughter. |

I bought the David Cook CD for dh when it came out. He wasn't crazy about it! He said all the songs sounded the same and he does that yelling thing. I think we are spoiled as far as albums go, growing up with concept albums, Where the songs are carefully placed and lead into each other. I guess that is the artist he was figured to be And the demographic he appeals to. I like it on my Ipod though, when it mixes up and you dont have to listen to it all in a row. It is the only cd I've purchased of any AI artist. I haven't seen much of David A. I do enjoy seeing the past Idols return and talk about the experience. The American Idol Machine amazes me. |

What the heck was Megan thinking when she did that whole arm flapping and cawing noise...it made her look really silly. She's has such a beautiful face but when she did that whole bird imitation it made me see her in a whole different light (and it's not a good one). I wasn't a big fan of Megan, she had her good and bad days. But the last 2x she performed, I was really disappointed. I'm glad to see her go. As for Allison, I was really surprised to see her on the bottom 3. Maybe she needs to tone down her looks or something b/c the last outfit she wore looked like she just came off the Flintsone set. :rolleyes: BTW, I've been to last AI concert in Atlantic City, NJ and loved it!!! I was a big fan of Archuleta. He has such an amazing voice and when he performed he got a standing ovation. I just picked up his CD and I hope he does well with his album sale. I also like Cook, but I'm more of an Archuleta fan. :D |
I went to the American Idol concert with a bunch of friends for work in season two with Clay Aiken. We couldn't see alot because we were high up and it was packed, but we really enjoyed it! I was wondering what might have happened during the week for Megan to make that remark to Simon, she seemed mad as the evening started! Did anyone hear anything??? |

Megan knew she was going home. She just decided to go out with sarcasm and humor (If you call the chicken thing humorous.) And I think Allison sang like she had a sore throat. There is a nasty flu going around AI people right now. |
I agree Lou, she knew she was going home and then Brian asked Simon if there was anyone worth saving in the group. |
