I did download the clip from the photobucket site to compare with the full length video, and I am betting the iTunes one would be of lower quality. LOL. I can't say for sure since I haven't downloaded, but if they expect you to watch from a tiny screen, it wouldn't need to be very good to work. |

Well, American Idol is a singing competiton, not a piano playing competition, so I think it is good he left. You're right, He is an amazing piano player, which probably made him stay around as long as he did. |
Yes, I'm sure that had a lot to do with it. It was the right choice to eliminate him this round. I wonder who is next!? |
I think Anoop or Lil Rounds will be the next to go. I do not see them lasting too long in this competition if they do not have a hot performance. Lately, I have been able to predict who was going home. Adam and Allison are my favorites. |
If Lil Rounds doesn't improve next week, then I think she REALLY needs to go. At this point, I'm at complete lost as to what type of album she would come out with. The other remaining contestant on the show all have their little nitch in music style/type (i.e., rock, pop, R&B, etc.). But as for Lil, she's all over the place. As of now, my favs are Adam, Allison, and Danny (in that order). :) |

Anyone else read this about Simon? Simon Cowell to Leave 'American Idol'? Looks like his contract will soon be up - I just highly doubt his ego would let him leave  - make sure to look at the vote counts though - do you all think he is important to the show? Would you still watch AI if he was gone? |

American Idol is built around Simon. His blunt and accurate comments makes people want to watch the show since the first season. I would probably still watch the show if Simon left, because I like to watch talent shows. I think the ratings would go down. I think many people like Simon, but the audience just love to boo his comments. You gotta love Simon. Well, I do. I like Paula too. |
He's so easy on the eyes:heart to:)but it depends on who would replace him? There could be as good or even better. |
I would hate to see Simon Cowell leave the show. His bluntness is quite refreshing (sometimes), he says it like it is and doesn't sugar coat it. He's the complete opposite of Paula. Although I did notice that this season Paula has gotten a little more tough with her critiques. |

what's the theme this week? |
I think it's songs from movies:eek: |
You know what song I would like to hear Lil Rounds sing "Let's Hear It For The Boys" if the contestants are going to sing songs from movies (Footloose). I think she could sing that song very well (upbeat song). Anyway, this song is one of my favorite songs from a movie. |

Oh I know that! I think he's pretty cute too.;) |
I think Paula has read a book on proverbs. She keeps coming up with these one liners that no one knows what they mean. I loved Adam again this week. Danny made me cry, he really tugs on the heartstrings. I give him alot of credit for being able to do this after what he's been through I just couldn't even imagine his pain. I was disappointed that most of the songs were slower songs. A little boring. I also thought Anoop did very well this week. I don't like that only 2 judges at a time got to speak because of last week. I think if Paula and Simon would stop acting childish and be more professional maybe they would have time. I also think it's very rude of them to be talking and laughing amongst themselves while the kids are performing. Just not cool! |
I think Lil is going home tomorrow. |

Adam Lambert performed as if he was at a concert. I am not a fan of Anoop, but I did enjoy his singing tonight. I think Lil Rounds is going home tomorrow. I wish some of the contestant sang upbeat songs too. I did not like the two judges' critique instead of all four of the judges for each contestant either. |
Well I will be signing off early tonight so I'll tell you what I think. Allison: I thought she was GREAT as usual Anoop: Wonderful but not as good as Allison Adam: Great Matt: Just loved the song he sang and although I didn't care for the entire song but there were really great parts. "Love a Woman" Danny: Endless Love is one of my all time favorite songs but I didn't care for the way he sang it. Kris: No matter what he sings I LOVE but this was not his best. Lil Should go home before Matt |
All three of us posted at the same time and said Lil was going home. |
Lil should go!! |
I think either Lil or Matt will go tomorrow. I thought Adam and Anoop were great tonight. |
