This is disgusting and should be against the law. This poor child. It will have 2attention whore parents who are selfish. This poor child will be confused beyond belief not to mention no normalcy in his/her life. Shame on them. Call it ignorant or whatever, but I'm sad for what this world has come to, and sad that I have to eventually raise my kids in a world with these people.

I don't really see what the awful deal is. Certainly having 2 of the same sex parents in this society isn't all that abnormal anymore. I don't agree with going on tv and making a wierd deal about it but certainly these people won't tell their child the situation until the child is age appropriate to know the details about he/she actually came about in this world and the choices the parent's made about their own sexual identity. I know several same sex couples (most of them Professional individuals) that have successfully raised wonderful well adjusted children. I seriously believe, all a child needs is to be loved and know they are wanted to be a successful adult in our society.

The main thing is that the child is loved and cared for. On a personal note, my grandsons have a deadbeat dad who doesn't care one iota about them. I think he's the worst kind of parent.

I don't think the he/she is really in a sound mind, confused very confused is what I see in this person.
What if he/she decides now he/she doesn't want to be a parent.
(didn't want to be a female so changed to being a man/but wanted to have a child and carry the child/isn't that is being a female

I didn't see the show, I was just speaking in generalities. I think loving and caring for a child is the #1 priority (unlike the father of my grandsons.)

It's too bad that we live in a society that judges this person for his/her choices, but that is just the way it is.
I, too, worry about this child as it matures and I think the child most likely will require some therapy. I sincerely hope that they did not do this for monetary reasons, but just to put it out there... because lets face it, this would not stay a secret for long and I fear that safety will become a very important issue soon.

As far as I'm concerned as long as this child was conceived in love and will continue to be loved and adored ... who really cares how it happened?
Love is love .... and every child is a gift from God and deserves to be adored in its own right.
Just because something is different does not make it ultimately wrong.

You know.... this same topic was on the radio this morning.. and I personally feel that "God does not give us things we cannot handle" and this is a good example of that.. it may not be the "norm" but it is what it is and we as compasionate human beings should try our best to accept what has happened and think of the child..... yes when it grows up it will ask these questions however , this little girl is a blessing from god to the parents that couldnt have children and desperatly wanted them and is lucky to have 2 parents who will love her and support her. Not many kids can say that... and in my opinion there is always a first time for everything that's how science evolves doesn't it?

Yes, two parents that love a child is a wonderful thing but that is NOT what this story is about. It's just plain sad.

I feel kind of sad that you feel this way. You don't even know these people. But you judge them and call them names. And your children will learn from you. There are alot of people in this world who are different from you and I. Accept people as they are, you just might like them.

I feel that these parents really seemed to love this child and wanted her dearly.
IMO society is going to make it a problem, not the parents.

To each there own, who are we to judge them for wanting a child, they obviously love each other.

I want my children to learn between right and wrong, and what they are doing is WRONG. Everyone can lead the life they want, be it straight, gay, transgender, but when you start bringing kids into this world, and confusing them, and making their life difficult that's just selfish. Parents are supposed to protect kids not make it more difficult for them. I like people being different than me, I just don't agree with a lot of things people do these days. This being one them. Just my own opinion.
