Kids can get depressed, take drugs or just become dangerous because of their life style. You see it on TV almost every week. Kids with guns killing others because they are just so unhappy in their way of life. Something
led them to become this way and this is one of those stories I think
we will see in the future on TV. "Child of man/woman goes beserk from
the pressure" Again I say, poor kid.

I dunno call me silly but If the child is wanted, loved, and healthy....who cares what sex had it.....Better than an unwanted child with parents who dont give 2 hoots about them. I am a believer that being transgender is not a choice its something you are born with as well as being lesbian, gay, etc.. You just are and until I walk in those shoes...I wouldn't judge it. Thats just me tho. I also agree with SimonandHallie education is key on a topic like this!

I agree this child may suffer peer pressure, and teased etc., but again education is key if more parents talked openly about these things maybe it would be put on the back burner...I agree tho kids can be very cruel over even what tennis shoes a child may have on....which is sad to me.
I try to teach my children to reach out to outsiders as this may impact that childs life more than they ever know instead of poke fun and degrade them.

I didn't know this was coming on oprah yesterday b/c I only get to watch it if I'm not working, but I turned it to oprah & they said man pregnant blah blah & my twelve year old's eyes got big & he shreeked "MOMMA" & so I had to start explaining all this. I wish they would think of other people & who all might be watching when they do this, & I agree if they didn't want the attention they would have never reported it b/c nobody would have known otherwise.

Sorry! I didn't mean to be confusing, they showed about the pregnant man the other day that it was coming up on her show that was when my son saw it. It is on today on oprah at 4:00 here channel 8.
