It's too bad that we live in a society that judges this person for his/her choices, but that is just the way it is.
I, too, worry about this child as it matures and I think the child most likely will require some therapy. I sincerely hope that they did not do this for monetary reasons, but just to put it out there... because lets face it, this would not stay a secret for long and I fear that safety will become a very important issue soon.
Thomas made a very profound statement in his interview,

As far as I'm concerned as long as this child was conceived in love and will continue to be loved and adored ... who really cares how it happened?
Love is love .... and every child is a gift from God and deserves to be adored in its own right.
Just because something is different does not make it ultimately wrong.
