I am beyond annoyed about Brooke going home. I mean, I loved her, but I am irritated that she went home and Jason is still there. Sorry to all the Jason-lovers, but I've never liked him...and I don't think I will. Yesterday I paid attention and I tried to put my finger on what exactly it is about Jason that bugs me...and I just can't figure it out. He was even a bit more of a performer this week, but I just don't enjoy him. Ah well. If he wins though...I won't be watching next year. Sorry.

*During the judges' critiques, while most contestants try to defend themselves in front of the judges, Jason graciously accepts the criticism and smiles respectfully, even though the judges can be very cruel.

*Jason was contacted by Rick Warren's church, (author of Purpose Driven
Life) outside of LA, Easter week, and invited to worship with their congregation since he couldn't be at his own church, and of course, he went.

*Earlier in the Idol season, Jason was asked about his faith by a few of the contestants and therefore gave birth to a Bible Study among them.

*He grew up playing the drums and when he went off to college, he taught himself to play the guitar, and has written several songs.

*When he auditioned for IDOL last August, he had only sung 5 times in public.

Thank you so much for that report. I knew there was something special about Jason. Even if he does not win he is still a star in my eyes and he should go far in life. I loved the first song he sang Tuesday night. I think both Davids out sing and out preform him but there is something about Jason's voice that is unique and soothing.

But its a singing competition, people should be in it based on how they sing, not what kind of life they live away from the stage. I'm not trying to offend anyone (especially Jason) with this, because I'd be a fan of him as a PERSON, but I don't think he should still be there because I don't think he's the best singer. And that doesn't mean I don't think he's a GOOD singer, cause I certainly do. But I don't think he's one of the top 4 singers in the country, either.

I'll stop rambling about it now haha.

I'd be happy with either David winning. Who do you guys think is going to go this week?
