One thing I bet you is that Jason won't end up with high blood pressure. |

I do whole-heartedly agree with you there! Yes, the judges have been harsh in the past but I think there was something about Jason that really unnerved them. They just couldn't "control" him, ya know? I haven't yet caught up on all the interviews he's done so far but I did Tivo and watch the Ellen and Regis & Kelly performances and he really outdid himself on Ellen with "Daydream". He did it even better than his original performance. There is really something special about that boy and like he said in one of his interviews.... "I think I'm what AI was originally meant to be all about.... the originality and the uniqueness" (or something to that effect). The judges have really let me down this time. I'll watch the rest but I really don't care about it anymore. And I will definitely be buying Jason's music in the future. My husband said last night that Jason is someone he'd love to sit and watch at a bar (or other really small venue). There's just something he's got that's genuine and intriguing. |
Just an FYI for the Bryan/College Station "Dreadheads"...... Candy 95 is selling Jason t-shirts - $5 with all proceeds going to the Childrens Miracle Network. Here it is..... Candy95.1 - Staff Got hubby and I each one today! |

JMO: But after tonites preformance, I think that David C and Syesha should be in the final 2... |
I agree but heard that Archuleta is suppose to win this one. Will see!!!!!!!!! |

Ok, I'm going to disagree with you all ;) -- I think David A was amazing - particularly with the 1st song. I've tried to vote & can not get thru :( |
David A has a great voice, but his attempt at contemporary tonight really, to me, showed his commercial limitations. I know that he will appeal to some in album sales, but he's not unique or versatile enough for me. :( Sayesha did pretty well with her songs. But David C did an amazing job with the great Roberta Flack song and sang one of my all-time favorite songs, Don't Want to Miss a Thing. ...aaaahhhhhhhh. :) |
I voted for David A. about 10 times. I just think David A. has such an angel voice. Yes, David C. is a great vocalist but I am just not a rocker. I really liked David C.'s second song. |

OK...here goes. This is hard for me. ;) I was at a rehearsal during David A's first song...and I just managed to catch his second song. I was not impressed at all. I thought it was very dissapointing. :( *phew* That was hard! :p I'm serious though, and it makes me sad. |

Sorry babe. For you, though, I think it was his first disappointment. :) |

I am voting David A . . . Go David!!!!! |

I feel that Simon tells the truth and does it in a very "British" way. To the point. And Jason was awful last week. JMHO |
David C rocked it out last night. love him and i just have to say that David A should have never sang that second song. wow.... it just goes to show you that he can't pull off fast contemporary songs. he has a great voice for ballads but not so much with anything else. i was sort of embarrassed for him during that performance. the dancing omg.... i couldn't help but laugh through then entire thing. seyesha tho, seems to get better and better. Loved her first and last song. very nice job. |
I'll tell you if I had to pick a winner from the first round of songs, I could not have done it, they were all great. Perfect song for David A. in the first round but it kinda went downhill from then on a bit. It's going to be sad tonight for all of us because at this point we like the three, just one a tiny bit more. Megan, you have to listen to David A's first song, it was beautiful. |
I thought they were all wonderful, but the first round was the best. I do not always agree with Simon's comments, but he really does know his business and by picking Roberta Flack's song ( The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face ) for David C was just brilliant. I cried through the entire song ..... |

I think the judges are swaying the people to vote Syesha off. They didn't say one nice thing about her last night. It felt kind of obvious that the show wants her voted off next and have the last week be David & David. Sad bc I think she did excellent last night... just as well as David A (maybe better??). David C I think is heads above them both. :) |

ok, I'm going to predict clear to next Wed. The judges made it clear that they want the 2 Davids in the finals last night. They didn't give Syesha much hope, much to my disappointment. So, dear, talented Syesha will leave tonight. But next week, who will her fans vote for?? David A of course, as their styles are more alike. So, that makes David A this year's American Idol winner |

I think it will be David A all the way and that's why Simon said what he did about David C last night. He wanted to get David C enough votes to eliminate Seyesha. I have to say that Seyesha is an amazing performer. She will do very well. For those that didn't like David A's 2nd performance last night. Keep in mind that he is only just 17 and inexperienced. Give him a couple of years and he will blow your socks off. I think he's adorable and I don't think his performance was bad at all. I was suprised he was able to move as much as he did. David C is amazing but he doesn't need to win, someone will snatch him up and he would do better by not winning AI, just like Daughtery. |

I reeeeaaallllyyyy hope David C. wins. I think he's amazing. BUT i have a feeling that David A will get more votes. We will soon find out! |
