See what these babies are good for lol at least they make us feel like mommy's - i too grew up late in life, who cares? The day after we got Chanel i had "babyblues" for 2 days

Things happen for a reason and im sure this baby is meant to be too

I really must add, that only you really know your situation and what is best for you, so please choose only what works for you and what you feel in your heart is right. I would feel bad if you were swayed by my grandmother's story and then it turned out to be the wrong decision. Though I must admit, you don't seem like the type that is easily swayed. LOL.

I am reminded of a famous quite from Buddha - "Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense." I think it pretty much sums up everything I was gonna say.

Villette, it almost sounds like he wants to get another puppy, so that the two of you won't think about his illness. You both love the girls and they love you too. However, a puppy would bring new life into the home. Maybe a little boy puppy. That would give your husband "My Boy". Should your husband no longer be around, you will have his "Little Boy" to remember all the good times together. Time is so very short. I'm on the downhill run, so I guess I'm thinking my time is almost done too. The correct answer, is not what he wants, or what you want--but what you both want together.

I'm so sorry to hear of your husbands illness. It does seem as if he is looking for something that is "his" as he probably views the girls as yours. Maybe he feels that if you get a new puppy that he has left you with part of him, something that he charished. Who knows what he is thinking...but I will tell you this, that 3 in no harder to take care of then 2. You were right when you said that money is only money. You can't take it with you when you go so might as well enjoy things now. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.
