| Chester says thanks! Don't feel bad, Chester grabbed a dead frog today while the wife was walking him, and it was a tug of war between Chester and his mama with the dead frog, lol Its taken him about a month to learn to go on the leash, but now he goes no problem on the leash |

| Chester just came home, he did ok. They gave him Lepto, and next month he gets another one. They said his body is growing, theirfor his weight should catch up. He's gotten longer and taller. He's 3lbs 1 oz , alittle small in my eyes still, but they said he's ok n his weight, not to be concerned Another thing the vet said was were giving him to many treats , he's not eatting his food which he needs to eat So were going to slow down on his treats Wife's taken him home now to watch him for the next 24 hours |

YT Addict | Glad to hear Chester is doing okay. Pips gets no treats, I give him a few cheerios when we train but that's it. He's eating half cup a day right now. I out about 1/8 c in his bowl in am and sprinkle light with water and shake. He seems to like it that way I think because he's teething again. He gets the same for lunch and then dinner 1/2 cup around six. He seems to eat his biggest meal at night for some reason. I never let his bowl be empty, I always put some kibbles in. They can free feed and they won't get overweight at this age. Frog, YUCK Yeah walking him is something I am not thrilled about here because of the woods. |

| Ok, He hasn't eaten his food in a while. To much table food and treats he's sore right now, we just went to pick him up and he started yelping, from the shot So we let him walk into the backyard instead of picking him up, and he's doing his thing Wife's working tonight, so It's a papa and Chester night together on the futon! |

| Oh he's feeling better! I took him in the backyard just now, and after a few pee sessions, it was grab a twig laying and the grass and me chase him all around the yard , he like to play catch me, and he knows I can't, LOL Next month they have to give him another Letpo shot. He will be 6 months old Then , they said at month 7 his Rabies , not next month he's still to small, and they don't want to overload him with his shot's Somewhere around month 8 he will get spayed and the chip put in. You have any updated Pips pictures? I also sent someone your way " Marsha " . She Pmed me about the breeder I got Chester from, and told her you were very happy where you got Pips, to also consider that breeder as well. She lives in Northern FL |

YT Addict | I heard from Marsha she decided on another pup. I don't know the details. How did Chester do with the diving trip? I posted pics of Pips taken yesterday and a few days ago. Most of them have shirts on, because he sleeps in a shirt. The house is cold especially at night. It's on Pippy growing page in yorkie photos. |

His Mama was working last night , and caught us sleeping last night on the futon, me and Chester all curled up in a ball, lol |

YT 2000 Club Member | dog I am so glad little Chester is all right. Also you have realized the dangers of the dog parks. I would not take my Yorkies there. We have a nice dog park here but big dogs run loose, germs and disease, just too many things to happen to them. Keep great protection over Chester. He is little but watch out-Yorkies can be fearless and we do not want him taking on a big ole dog. He is the cutest and you have a wonderful friend and companion. |

| Thanks Sandy! Chester is " submissive " . He surrenders right to other dogs. But we're not going to take him Their again , unless it's only one or two other very small dogs. He's to small still at only alittle over 3lbs He doesn't know how to interact with the cat yet, so the two of them don't interact yet. Chester is a ball of fire when he wants to play. And the cat is close to 15 years old, and doesn't want to be bothered with like that Hes still so small. And is learning still everyday. Yesturday he got to the cat poop in the grass before we could get to him. If tis not the cat poop, it's the rabbit poop He's alittle over 5 months now, so he has one more Lepto shot left, Rabbies, and then spay and netured , chip. | I just updated on another thread, I thought id update Chesters thread also I have to soften Chesters food also, his teeth are coming in also. The vet said if they grow in with his baby teeth still in, they will remove them when we spay him He's still under 4 lbs , the vet is thinking 6lbs , I hope so, God he's still so small, I'll be happy over 5lbs He's also just about potty trained, he goes on the leash now when we walk him, poo and pee I stopped sleeping with him, he's barking all night to sleep with me. last week he was terrible all night every few hours would bark and cry Now he does it for a few minutes when I put him I the kitchen, and after 10 minutes I yell from the bedroom Chester knock it off! And he stops We also just started getting Chester and the cat together for 5 minutes a day He's really such a good boy, but boy, he's a ball of fire. Lots of energy when he wakes up He will play by himself , but if I spend more then 15-20 minutes not focused on him, and play with him, he sits their and barks at me to play with him Wife may switch jobs , and go from working 3 nights a week 12 hour shifts to day shift, 8am to 5pm, which will stink, Chester will be home alone all week, because that will mean we both will be working full time 8am to 5pm So we're holding off right now on another puppy till she figures out what she's doing |

| Update on Chester He's 4.6oz , and 6-1/2 months old! He still has half his baby teeth, and just finished up with his rabies shots About a month ago. I started sleeping with him full time at night. Theirs no turning back now. I sleep with him every night now. The wife sleeps with the cat in the other bedroom, until the cat passes , which he's all most 15 years old, but still healthy The two still don't get along. Chester is to feisty for the cat, and the cat ends up wacking him, so we don't let the two near each other still Yesturday, we heard for the first time, and real deep low tone bark, when someone came to the house, he became quit the 4lb watch dog, lol Happy Holidays! |
