Here they are :)

1. This one is really fuzzy, but it's so rare that I can get them to both look at me at the same time, I had to post it.

2. Daisy loves my flower beds. She goes in and out of all the plants, sniffing and exploring. She got completely underneath some hostas the other day.

3. I wish this one would have came out more clearly too, but I'm a sucker for the tongue pictures. :p

4. Here's Abby trying to take Daisy for a walk!

Oh Tammy that last picture cracks me up!!! Was Abby trying to chew on Daisy's leash!! The do look like they are having so much fun together! yes any time Tammy come and walk and visit!! You have got sooo much going don't you!!! Tony flys? Is it a regular plane or a remote type plane? I know both types of airfields are close to you!! The girls sounded very social at the airfield:)!! That cracks me up about the windows!! All that work!! Oh well...new windows will be even better!

Lisa and Pic 05-07-2008 12:30 PM

WinstonW - Good luck with Winston's baby teeth coming out on Friday. Does he have just a few, or more than that, do you think? Also, it would be soooo much fun to be able to go to the car show and meet our Indiana friends. :coolsmile We'll have to check our calendar.

Shelby and Seymour - Thanks for the compliment about the pictures. We used to watch the big Labor Day fireworks from the Covington side, also. But now we go out of town and miss them every year. We also love the Newport Levy for the restaurants, aquarium, and a few of the festivals they have on the riverbank in the summer.

MyPeanutAbbyGra - Do you enjoy flying also? That was sweet you had your furbabies at the airport being spoiled rotten. Your social calendar and home improvement projects must be keeping you extra busy. I loved the pictures of Daisy and Abby, especially the leash picture!:lol tears

Tatertot - Piccolo and I are very excited about your adventure to get Bandit this weekend. Can't wait to see pictures!:2photo:

I'm sorry, I should have clarified! He flies radio controlled airplanes. He has such a ball doing it. He has oodles of planes. Sometimes it drives me a little bonkers though ;)
Yeah May always seems to be a busy month for us for some reason. I guess all the birthday and graduations. We just decided to plop the home improvements on top of it. *bonk*

Abby was actually pulling on Daisy's leash. She does that everytime I put Daisy's leash on her. She's such a big toughie. hahaha.

I'm looking forward to having new windows!! YEAH! Our house is 58 years old and these are the original windows. I so want the tilt in kind, so they are easier to clean. Even better, I'd like a maid. ;)

I can't wait to come up and go for walks. Abby will be 16 weeks old next Friday and will have all her shots! We will be able to go wherever we want to go then. Of course, sometimes I end up pulling or carrying Abby as much or more than she walks.

What?!? I think I missed the fact that Winston was having teeth removed!:eek: I'm sorry. I hope he does well. for Winston and his Mommy!

Lisa, like I told Lisa K, Tony flies radio controlled planes. He did take flying lessons, but much prefers the smaller ones. We all (the kids and I) enjoying going to the field to watch him and we've made some good friends there.

Lisa K, you've probably seen the field, it's right off of I-164.

Lisa, it would be so much fun if you and your husband were able to make to the Frog Follies. :car:

Bah, what a rainy day. I hope tomorrow is wall to wall sunshine :D

Here are some more pictures of Abby.
1. Sleepy Baby
2. Still sleeping
3. Mama woke her up.
4.Look at her eyes glowing green.

Oh good news! We found Ron a dog :) Buddy is part terrier and part dachsund. He's 6 years old and weighs about 16 pounds. He's a real cutie. I think my son and I are going tomorrow to pick him up. We're just waiting to hear from Ron about how his medical test came out. I'll be so happy for both Ron and Buddy if it works out.

Lisa and Pic 05-07-2008 02:34 PM

Tammy - What precious pictures of your sleeping beauty!* :dogzzz:

winstonw 05-07-2008 03:04 PM

Lisa and Tammy ....Yes Winston has to get at least 2 baby teeth out Friday Morning. Some of the permanent ones did come in great and pushed the baby ones out....but some not. To help his bite and to keep from getting gum disease...food stuck in those double row spaces she thought it best to have them out. His bite looks good though. You should see my shih tzus teeth:biggrin8:.....a sole tooth here and there that stick out over the lips!!! Cracks me up. Everybody always laughs and tells me Jeff should have done braces on them!!!:D

Tammy those pictures of Abby are just the cutest!! I love her little dress! I can tell she is growing. Can you see differences too?...It's always kinda hard to tell when you are with them all the time.

Tatertot----:happybounYeah Yeah It's almost here!!! Time for Bandit!!!

MyPeanutAbbyGra 05-07-2008 03:57 PM

Thank You!
Yes I can tell she's growing. She had a growing spurt a week or so ago and really shot up or out or whatever it is that little short legged puppies do :) I weighed her yesterday and she's almost to 2.5 lbs.

Lisa, when did Winston start losing his baby teeth? I'll have to keep an eye on Abby.

winstonw 05-07-2008 05:08 PM

I have never seen any of the baby teeth actually come out....From being here on yt I have noticed a lot of the yorkies needing this so I looked in Winston's mouth about a month ago and I saw some of the primarys still in where the permanent ones were also in....kinda like double rowed. I talked to Tracy (vet) at East Pines and she said yorkies do run into this a lot.

tr_farmer 05-07-2008 05:25 PM

I live in Jackson County, Kentucky. It is in the Southeastern part of the taste east of I75. I have had my furbutt for 4 weeks now and love her to death. I actually think I loved her just by looking at her pic on the internet.

Lisa and Pic 05-08-2008 04:42 AM

Lisa K. - Again, good luck with Winston's baby teeth surgery tomorrow. Piccolo had to have that done and all turned out well and I know it will for him, too. We will be thinking about you both.

tr farmer - Welcome to this thread and to Yorkie Talk! Piccolo and I live in Northern Kentucky. One question...I'm thinking Jackson County might be near Irmo, Ky. Is that correct or am I way off?

Hey everyone....last night me and my hubby got a call from his mom saying that they had to rush his little brother to the hospital because the docs found spots on his lungs that were beginning stages of them collapsing....we are waiting for more results on tests and x-rays to find out if they are going to put a chest tube in him or not. He is only 16 (almost 17) He was born a preemie at 1.4 ounces he has had roughly 40 some surgeries his whole life....not even a year ago he had pancreatitis and they removed his pancreas and put the eyelets into his liver, he is now diabetic because of this but after the surgery both of his lungs collapsed and he died for a moment but they were able to save him. He has spent alot of his life in the hospital but he is the strongest little boy I ever met. I'm attaching a picture of him....this was from a couple years ago...he looks the same just taller. I am asking for prayers, he needs all he can get.

winstonw 05-08-2008 06:30 AM

Tatortot...We will keep your brother in law in our thoughts and prayers. Goodness, he has had a lot to deal with in his young life.

tr_farmer-Welcome to YT! Sounds like your new little Yorkie won you over too!! Winston is my first one too--7 months old.....he is now lounging on my bed on the heating pad as we "speak"! Look forward to hearing more about your little girl.

Lisa-Thanks again for the thoughts!!

tr_farmer 05-08-2008 06:46 AM

I have no idea where Irmo is, but we are about 30 minutes from London and a little more than an hour away from Lexington. Anyone know how I can minimize my pictures so I can post them on here?

What a handsome young man. Ashley, he is in my prayers. It just seems so unfair that someone so young would have to deal with so much. Lots of love going out to the family and to your BIL.

Hello and Welcome :) What's your baby's name? How old is she?

It depends on the picture program you have, as to how you can resize the pictures.
You can host them on another site and resize them, like at Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket It's a free site and it's very useful.

Lisa and Pic 05-08-2008 09:00 AM

Dear Tatertot - I'm sending out prayers for your brother-in-law.

I will keep your Brother in Law in my prayers! It's so sad when things like this happen to someone so young.

tatertot15 05-08-2008 11:16 AM

We still dont know any updates....I hate doctors....they keep doing more and more x-rays and not telling us anything more than we already know. I'm getting sick of being at work and knowing nothing. You would think that since they've had him since last night they would have some idea on what they are going to do but no....they just ignore the fact that family is sitting and waiting to hear what is going to happen next to Zach. The whole family will just fall apart without him. Oh and get this Billy (my husband) his grandpa had the nerve to call his mom and say that this is her fault because she doesnt take good enough care of him....SERIOUSLY!?!? He must be in shock or something because Zach gets the best care I've ever seen....he has everything he wants and needs he see's a nurse daily that comes to the house....hell I used to take care of him through a company as a home health aid....I just cant believe he said this to her....the nerve of him. OOOOHH it just kills me the way people get when stuff like this happens....family should be closer at this kind of time not bashing and blaming others when its nobody's fault. Sorry everyone I really needed to get that out and since I cant say it to the family I might as well say it to "MY YT FAMILY". Thank you everyone for the prayers....this is just a very scary time for me and my husband....I dont know how my husband would take it if something happened to Zach....he would probably end up in the hospital himself. He like to hide his feelings about this kind of stuff....thank god he confides in me the way he does otherwise he would have blown up by now....I dont know i'm rambling....I have all these feelings and I dont even know if I'm making any sense....Thank you for listening, I'm going to shut up now

Love, Ashley

winstonw 05-08-2008 11:44 AM

Oh I'm sorry that is all going on. It does seem like stress brings out the panic mode in people. I do hate that some people cope by blaming at a time like this. It doesn't help a thing and just causes more problems. Sometimes figuring out the medical problem does just take time, and I know it is miserable. I think of it like a jigsaw puzzle or mystery to figure out, cause as amazing as our bodies are for us, when something goes wrong, it can be very complex to figure the main cause because everything relys on one another, systems etc. Hopefully they will know something soon. I'm keeping your whole family in prayers and thoughts.
Ashley, I know this is your big weekend for Bandit too. I know you will probably want to get him yourselves...the big day, but as you find out more about your brother in law and the unfolding situation.....just a thought......if you still wanted him, but didn't have time to get him.....I could possibly transport him to Cincy??. I don't know if you would even want that, but I just wanted to offer.

Fair warning to both Lisa's...
I've got PMS:eek:

tatertot15 05-09-2008 07:43 AM

Just another update....nothing has changed with Zach (my BIL) He is still in the hospital and we are waiting to see if he will need to go into surgery for a chest tube. They put him on oxygen yesterday and they said that it would help keep his lungs full to help them to not collapse....I dont know how that works but as long as it works I dont care how. Billy (DH) is on his way to the hospital now....Zach called him last night and asked him where he was (thats his way of saying he wanted to see him) so he is going. Billy hates hospitals, he practically lived in a waiting room for 8 months when Zach was born until he could come home. I wish there was more I could do for Billy, I know this is hard on him. Anyways thats all for now....i'll be online on and off until abou 6 today. then back on later tonight.

Lots of Love, Ashley

tatertot15 05-09-2008 08:07 AM

Thats great news! I will still keep him in my prayers. I have a son who was born with medical problems, so i know the prayers are still needed eve if they are not in the hospital. Again it's wonderful that he gets to go home!
