We get the fresh n clean shampoo at PetsMart. I have also seen it in Petsedge. We get the regular one ....it is reddish color in the bottle. The other one has baking soda??or something in it. I didn't think that one smelled as great as the regular one.

Big Break through this morning...Abby let me brush her without putting up a fight! :D It so enjoyable for both of us! YEAH!!! She laid on her back and let me brush her chest and everything. I'm so happy! :cheer::yay_jump::happyboun

Now for sad news :( Our cat, Fuzz, who would have been 13 yrs old on July 4th, passed away last night. He's lived with my daughter for the past 3 yrs, because technically he was her cat.
We got Fuzz when Arika was 8 years old and when she moved out on her own she took him with her.
He fell asleep on the couch and never woke up. At least he went peacefully.

The boy had used up all his lives. He had a pin in his leg, had, had an abcess behind his eye, he had numerous kidney and bladder stones. I can't tell you how much $ and time we spent trying to keep him well. By looking at him, you would never have been able to tell that he had been unhealthy. He was big and well, Fuzzy! :) Poor Arika, she was alone. Her husband is at intensives in VA. So Arika had to bury Fuzzy by herself. They live in MS.
I cried myself to sleep last night. I cried for Fuzzy and for Arika. I hate her being so far away. I so badly wanted to be with them last night.

R.I.P. Sweet Fuzz.

BTW, Thanks for asking me to see the pictures of Chloe the other day Lisa! At the same time, I found several of Fuzzy :) I know Arika will be grateful for them.

Lisa - I hope to try the Fresh and Clean from Petsmart on Piccolo. It sounds like it smells heavenly! Thanks for the tip.

Ashley - I bet the Wee Wee pads will work. Keep us updated.

Ashley, you need to get something that will remove pet odors. I bought something called Pawls boutique Urine Remover. It says it's non toxic, enzyme power & odor extractor. There are many others out there. I just read here on YT that anything with enzymes will do the trick. Wipe up the urine and then spray on and let it dry.

Keep the faith sweetie :) He'll come around.

Tammy I am so sorry...I have tears in my eyes as I read about Fuzz....poor Arika by herself sweetie having to bury him...bless your hearts. Please post a pic of Fuzz if you can. I didn't know that you had a cat too. We have one Silki who is about 14. She has been our longest pet and I dread the day when she passes...ev was about 2 when we got her. You and your family have just had so much with your pets these past few years. Abby and Daisy were little godsends for you all....and of course Misty, the special star:star2::)!!

Hi Lisa and Piccolo and all! What a gorgeous day here! I have been outside cleaning the pool and just stepped in to get a drink and of course sneak a quick peak at yt;)!! I am addicted I admit:D!!

Sounds like fun plans for everyone.......We are going to have 4 days of intensive cleaning inside and out getting ready for a big wedding next weekend of Jeff's brother......Nothing like pressure to get things done!!

I am sooo sorry to hear about sweet Fuzz....I know how hard it is to lose a pet....it is devastating. I lost my cat about 4 years ago to leucemia. I will keep you and your daughter in my thoughts and prayers, I'm sure this was hard on Arika to have to go through it alone. Tell Arika we are all thinking about her!!

Lisa K. - I think I'm addicted to YT, also. Our weather was kind of yucky today, but it sounds like the great weather is headed our way.

So, this is the weekend for the Yorkie Meet-Up in Cincinnati. It sounds like it will be fun. Wish Piccolo and I could go. We do have lots of things to do, including a graduation party tomorrow and my husband's family's Memorial Day Party on Monday. Hope everyone has a great 3 day weekend! :)

Lisa, I will go find that picture again and post it. Silki is 14! Wow :) I really thought Fuzz had several more years left in him. Arika said that he had been playing like a kitten recently. At least he was happy and didn't suffer.

Ashley, I have read in a lot of books on potty training puppies, that the negitive attention given with disciplining for an accident is still a form of attention and therefore can actually make the problem worse. What you should do is if you catch him going to potty you say no firmly and then place him in the right area you have set aside for potty time. Praise him every time he uses the correct spot set aside for going potty This will get him wanting to go in the right place. I also agree with everyone who said to use a solution to clean up urine. I think your pup is drawn to the lingering odor that we might not smell but he sure can! I used Natures Miracle and it seemed to work great for us. Keep us posted on his progress!

I am so glad that the weather is nice this weekend, I have had Jeter outside a lot the past few day's and he is so funny out in the backyard rolling in the grass! I am so looking forward to school being out for my 4 boy's. We are getting a pool for the backyard and they have no clue yet! What a surprize it will be for them.

For all that congratulated me on getting my girl puppy, I am still searching for her, I have a few breeders that I am checking out but I think I should have her sometime in June:xfingers:I knew Jeter's breeder and I just am checking everything out first before I jump in and get my girl. I have started to buy her things though and having had all boy's it sure is fun getting to get Pink things for Yumi Yasha! I think we would be dirt poor if I actually had a daughter that I had to dress, I was on a site looking at all the cut puppy dresses and oh how I wanted to get one of each dress!!

Lisa and Picollo I just noticed you are soon to roll into triple digits in your posts if you havent done so already!! Yeah!

Adorame-that is so exciting about your suprise pool for the boys!! They will just love it and what a fun summer you will all have! That is funny about pools, because I had just stepped in from outside and I had just totally finished opening ours! We just have a small 18foot round aboveground with an attached deck to our house. We have had it since our son was young. I still love it to tan/float and to relax. Is it going to an aboveground or inground and when will they be putting it in? Oh I wonder if little Jeter will like and be swimming in it too!! I bought a little float for Winston....I have not found out if he is going to like it or not. My neice was over with her Yorkie Zoey a couple days ago and she either jumped or fell in....our backs were turned at that moment, but she seemed ok with it and was doggy paddling around. We are really going to have to keep a close eye on them this summer around the water. That sounds so fun buying your girly things for your new puppy!

Brandy - Glad to hear Jeter is enjoying being outside in this great weather. The new pool sounds wonderful. Our next door neighbors are putting in an above ground pool and the workers have been using our driveway to get to their backyard. They are very excited and I bet everyone (that knows) at your house is, too.

Lisa - I didn't realize my number was going to hit 100 soon, until you pointed that out. Wow! It doesn't take long around here, when you have such great OIK YorkieTalk friends. :D

Ashley - I do not have knowledge about dogs coughing, but I wanted you to know we are thinking about you and your sweet Bandit. Have you taken him to the vet today? Please let all your YT friends know what the vet says.

Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day. We went to my husband's family party. I was so jealous because there were 4 small dogs at the party and I did not bring Piccolo. :( I did have a great time sitting on the floor and playing with all of the puppies. She will be "dressed to the nines," and attending next year, that is for sure!

Bandit has an appointment today at 5:15. I cant go with him because I will still be at work so HD will be taking him. I feel so bad for him....I want to be there with him. I am so mad at my sister for bringing that dog over to our house. My whole family (excluding my husband) kept saying oh "your just over-reacting and being too protective, he will be fine. Bandit wont get anything, this dog has all his shots blah blah"....i'm sitting there thinking yeah first off how do they know for a fact it has all its shots...were they at the vet with it? And just because it has all its shots doesnt mean Bandit wont get something from him. But they kept nagging and nagging and Bandit kept getting more anxious to get down and play....so I gave in then only a few minutes later that stupid dog was coughing, I freaked and grabbed him and took him inside for the rest of the time. My sister didnt even have that dog on a leash or anything, just let it roam all around the yard which made me keep Bandit in my arms the whole time....I had to put him in his carrier just so I could eat. It was so sad, I felt horrible. I wish I had just never let him get down and play even though I would have felt bad for doing that too, at least my baby wouldnt be coughing. My sister has been making fun of me and telling me i'm stupid because I have a little bag that has all of Bandits stuff in it for when we go somewhere....it has his blankie, toys, food, treats, water, Harness, leash and nutri-cal in it....whats wrong with that....I just want to make sure my baby has everything he needs....he isn't just my pet he is my family and my baby boy, I swear only you and very select people that aren't members here understand this stuff....she even said it was stupid that he has clothes :eek: I wear clothes...why shouldnt he? Anyways.... Sorry I needed to vent....I'm sure you all will understand. Thanks for listening!! I will let you all know what the vet says as soon as I know and can get to my computer.

Oh you poor Cincinnati girls at the Memorial Day Parties!! Lisa of Lisa and Piccolo who attended solo without her little Piccolo, had to play with other people's puppies:rolleyes:....meanwhile poor Ashley had Bandit glued to her and couldn't relax because of the coughing puppy!!:(:eek: Sorry it wasn't more fun girls! Lisa your comment about dressing Piccolo to the nine next year had me lol:D!!!! Ashley I'm so sorry you had all that added stress at a party no less. Let us know what you find out at the vets. Don't let her get to you about being a prepared responsible pet owner.....which is what you are being. I don't think some people truly understand how extra careful you need to be with these tiny breeds especially the puppies like Bandit is. What a good mommy he has...you brought the nutrical....you never know when you need stuff like that. I bet he looked cute all dressed up too!!;) Ashley, I have a BOX yes a BOX of clothes for Winston and I love dressing him! There is just something about these pups:)....you are DEFINITELY in like minded company here!!!:D

Ashley - You are being a great Yorkie Mom, forget what anyone else thinks. We all would have done the same thing, and made sure our babies were not exposed to a coughing dog, as soon as we noticed the problem. When someone says something like that to me, I always think..."You are not the one that has to take my baby to the vet, do all the worrying, and pay the bill. Ahhh!" So that is my vent, added to yours.

Hi again Jessica! Just chatted;) with you on the other Indiana thread. Oh Tammy is going to be so excited when she reads your post about having littermates!! Chanel and Abby full sisters:)!! Wow that is really neat! They are both so cute, and I definitely see the resemblance!! That means Chanel is related to Bandit/Tatertot-Ashleys also? is that right...I know it was a different litter, but is it the same mom and dad too? That is just awesome!! I live in Boonville which is about 20 minutes from Evansville. I went to Marian College and IUPUI in Indy many years ago:rolleyes:....last year I went to my cousin's who lives in Greenwood.....I could not get over how it has grown!! I was originally from southeast Indiana/Cincinnati so I just love this thread:)! It is so nice to meet you and your cutie Chanel!
