| ![]() I am shocked. I held Stacy in high esteem as well, from all I have heard and read about her... You are brave to come forward and share your story Michiko, and so are you Kalina and Timmy. Thank you.

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | ![]() I'm totally shocked on all ends of this. ![]() ![]() Michiko, I know how much you looked into the breed before you bought from Stacy. and I know how much thought and time you put into this. I'm sorry you're having a rough time and I hope it is resolved. Kalina - I'm sorry you've had a rough time too. Timmy - you as well. I'm so sorry. Hopefully Stacy will come and be honest with everyone soon. This whole situation is very sad. ![]()

![]() What is her story? I am glad you posted here so that others may be aware of this. My heart goes out to Timmy and Lily, and the others who are waiting for Stacey (Sylvan) to step up and respond as a responsible person should do. Such a shame.

| ![]() not to stick up for sylvan, but just a point i want to make.....when i got peanut, ( from another breeder, not sylvan) it took me forever to get the papers.....she didnt answer emails and her phone was disconnected..so i went to her house..it was empty......i thought what the heck is going on? i kept trying to get ahold of her somehow...till finally i found her, she had problems and had to move, had no phone and couldnt get online...... things happen..no ones life is perfect. i agree that if she has been online, she should have made this right, or at least tell you what the problem is before it came to this point. i only talked to stacey a few times, well i mean pmmed....( i think lilly is the one i almost took before she put her in the for sale threads) but i did call her a few times and i never got an answer. what i'm trying to say is...maybe something is going on with her and she just isnt herself, and if her site isnt up, well that tells me something is up..... i am looking for either another yorkie or a maltese not sure yet, and i was really thinking of stacey for a yorkie, because she is close to me and everyone talked so highly of her , but till i hear from her whats going on, i will keep looking.................thank you for starting this thread.. ..when i pay for something, i expect to get it, and you should too.....good luck..i hope all works out for you

| ![]() WOW, when I purchased my puppies several years ago, I received all my paper work with them. Now I have bred two of my females and have registered my last litter when they were three (3) days old, after they were seen by the Vet...They have all been Vet checked at 3 days old, 6 weeks old and again at 10 weeks...The person who purchased my little boy received my Vet papers with him...Along with the AKC papers.......I don't understand if you paid for papers then as the buyer you should received them too...I for one am very sorry that you have to go through this...After 3 1/2 years I can still contact my breeder regarding MY dogs... As a respectable breeder they want to know what happens to their puppies.......I hope that I can do the same with my litters........ |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | ![]() Michiko, Kalina & Timmy, You were all very brave to come out and tell this. I know you wish no harm but sometimes it is important to get this out of your chest, because it hurts. It is also important for us to know all this. Like some said, people change sometimes, but they can also change back. Once in a while things like this have to happen so people can realize how they are acting. Thanks again for your honesty ![]() |

| ![]() I for one....truly believe Sylvan Yorkies is a dedicated Breeder who loves her Yorkies and takes great care in finding them loving homes. I think in all FAIRNESS to Stacy.....it would be important to actually hear the OTHER side of the story, before making attempts to dishonor her reputation. You have admitted publically how happy you are with Haruka......and so I am puzzled on why you would take great pains to Post this. Were you planning on BREEDING Haruka? Perhaps its my nature.....but I certainly would have taken more PRIVATE steps to address this. And I'm glad you feel so much better now......irregardless of the consequences to others.... Francie |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | ![]() This is a website where honest opinions and experiences w/ breeders is much appreciated. People USE these opinions to guide their purchasing a new furry member of their family. Since you've taken steps, ad nauseum, to contact her - with no reply - I think it is prudent to post your experience. If her position is defensable, then I'm sure she will post her side of the story. The breeders on this site share some of the strongest opinions on this board (perhaps sometimes a bit too strong ![]() You, as a BUYER, are just as entitled to share your opinion and experience - and I commend you for doing so! It is clear it took a lot of thinking for you to arrive at this point.

She also stated that in order to get the papers Haruka had to be SPAYED, so she obviously isn't planning on breeding her. She paid for a AKC REGISTERED dog and that's what she was expecting, but the breeder didn't uphold her end of the contract..she said that too, I don't know if you saw it.. Honestly, if I was Michiko, by this point, I wouldn't be worried about being fair to Stacy anymore since that's what she's BEEN doing for the past 5 months.. Michiko told Stacy in an email about posting this thread, so she was aware or it coming out..Maybe the breeder should have thought about those consequences when she decided to ignore Michiko for 5 months or sell Timmy a dog that was much sicker than she originally said..IMO

Of course, we would all like to hear the other side of the story, that does not make OP's post out of line, and she has every right to let people know. We're still waiting for the other side, and I for one hope it is resolved well and that she gets her papers. And, obviously, if she wanted to breed her, she would not have had her SPAYED, as she posted in her original post--what was part of the contract to receive her papers... You don't have to want to breed to expect papers. She paid for an AKC, purebred, registered yorkie, and she should get that without having to explain why she wants her papers. | |
