I have been on the phone with Maureen, and the only way to get those tapes from Wal Mart is through the police, who said he would send a email, to the Wal Mart store in Tracy and request the tapes for Sun. She has not heard back to see if he did what he said he would do.

Zeke has been missing for two weeks now. And the best lead is the blond, who was seen at Wal Mart by a man named Jose, who was nice enough to call Maureen and give her a description of the blond lady that was trying to sell the yorkie. Maureen gave me Jose's number, the blonds name and number, and address, the police officer who is in charge of the case, and I recently called him to plead with him to take Jose, Maureen to the blonds house to ID her. Jose is more than glad to help in any way he can. If Jose says it is the same woman, as he had spent a while there with all the kids begging him to get the yorkie, so he is 100% sure he can ID her, and of course Maureen can ID her, than we have the lady. And will not need the Wal Mart tape. However to have the tape would be great, as it could lead to the arrest of the woman, if she shows up on the tape, which she could or could not, no one will know till the tape is viewed. If she is on the tape it will only back up what Jose saw, and the lady Maureen suspects is the woman who took her dog. No one will know untill the lady is viewed by Jose, and Maureen, and the police are the only hope of having that happen. The Lady lives in Tracy, and was trying to sell the yorkie in Tracy.

Maureen has not been able to get anywhere with the policeman, so I just called and left a lengthly message to please allow Jose and Maureen to go with him to identify this woman. If it is not the woman, than it is a door that will be closed. However if it is the woman, than it is a felony and she needs to be questioned and possibly arrested . I am still waiting to hear back from the police man on the case. I literally pleaded with him to please give us a little cooperation, so we can either move forward with this case, or close the door. We will not know until this lady is identified in one way or the other.

Maureen will continue to pass out flyers, and will place an add in the paper for anyone that may have bought a neutered male yorkie in the last week to please contact Maureen, as the dog could possibly be her dog that was taken. The person will be refunded in full and a reward will be offered.

Maureen will have to be reached by phone as she is unable to get on line.

I just posted what Maureen has been trying to do with the police. I will read all the above posts and catch her up by phone if i can reach her. You all have great ideas, and i feel in my heart we will get to the bottom of this, everyone has been soooooooooooo helpful, and believe me I know Maureen thanks you all from the bottom of her heart. She remains hopeful!

I know there was someone else who volunteerd but Im very familiar with myspace as well and am willing to help with the creation of the page. I can start as soon as I get some pictures and as much info as possible I have read through most of the posts but it would be really helpful to have all the info together, there was so much info about zeke but its all spread out on the posts. Also, yes you can do a zip code search and add/ message anyone with a myspace in that area. I can also see if the walmart in tracey has a "group" and we could post info in there as well... The myspace idea was great! Its getting to a whole different age group. And as a 20 year old I know that the younger age group goes to walmart with their friends all the time! Please PM me with any info that we should put on the page as well as the zip code in tracey.

Great Idea!!!!! Lets start a ZEKE fun for the ads!! I already am sending Maureen money for some help. If any one else would like to make donations, should the money be sent directly to Maureen, or should it all be collected by someone on the forum, so we know how much is available for the ads, and radio or t.v. spots!

I think Maureen needs to get a letter to the editor in. That should be a way to get her story told and MIGHT spur someone on the newsdesk to join in the sleuthing ...

ok, i just created an account on myspace so at least we are started. I still need all the info I can get and from what my google search showed, the zip in tracey is 95376. so thats what i used if its different let me know...im working on it right now but im keeping this page up so that i can check back for more info. Also, If the other person that volunteerd to help with myspace sees this, i would love some help, maybe we can do it together!

I spoke to her before i got on line. Sooooooo much has happened since last nite. So many great ideas and people to help follow through with them as soon as we get the go ahead from Maureen. I have been trying to reach her by phone, and left a message for her to try to get on line. or to call me and i will update her, and she can help with some of the decisions. Her laptop does not work all the time, so i know she would be on line if she could.

I don't have anything from the Wal Mart Store, but i can give you the name of the policeman that said he would send a email to the Wal Mart store to get the Sun. tapes. I have called and left a detailed message for help, he has not returned my call, maybe if some other people called and also put a little pressure on him he could give us some well deserved help! Send people to the media -- not the cops.

People pressuring them will only jam up VMs, keeping the possibility of anyone with valuable info getting through. Not to mention it will annoy the hell out of them and likely sap any motivation they would have to help.

On our local ABC news channel they have an investigative segment called 8 on your side...they help people that have been scammed, or having trouble getting cooperation from proper authorities, businesses or stores that are ripping people off, anything where an individual has a complaint or problem, they help solve it...and it usually works. The media can help, there should be no reason why Walmart will not view these tapes...anybody from that area that knows anyone on the police force, we need an insider...aren't there code enforcement officers that could check this lady out? I know where I live, there are many family and friends in law enforcement, city and county...at least they could give us advise, about the legal way to do this...and get those tapes. Maureen, we will not give up, there is someone out there that knows where Zeke is...and we won't quit til we find him.

Of course we want as much info to the media as possible, of course, That is a given!!!!! You can not get too much information to the media, in this case the police are needed to indentify the blonde lady who was spotted at wal mart with the yorkie. The only way to identify her is to go with Jose and Maureen to see if it is indeed the same blonde, In the event she does not show up on the tape. That is the only way we can id her. Maureen and her husband have been as nice as possible, with not even a call back. I was not in any way trying to pressure them believe me, I was pleading them for their help, as we have a witness and Maureen, who can comfrim if this is the woman Maureen suspects stole her dog!

As far as the media, the Vets, posting as many flyers as possibe is very, very important. But so is the identity of the blonde with the yorkie at Wal Mart. The police are the only ones that can help us with that one that i know of. Maureen and Jose can do nothing without the help of the police, this is a felony, many yorkies have been comfirmed missing by Dr. Steven Baker in Modesto Cal. The police need to get involved, these yorkies need to be found, and the thieves need to be stopped. Also the general public needs to be aware of the situation to keep their yorkies safe.

I know you get bees with honey and believe me Maureen has been as nice as she can be with no response. What are some of your suggestions to get the identity of this blonde woman.? Maureen has her phone number, address, lic plate number, Jose phone number who is willing to help identify the woman at the Tracy Wal Mart Store, the police now have so much more information than they did in the beginning, and i would think they would be willing to cooperate as now they have a reason to check the ID of the woman that Maureen thinks took her dog, and is trying to sell him in Tracy where she lives.

After all this is a felony theft, and needs to be treated as one. Again their can not ever be too much media attention as well, because if the blond does not have the yorkie, we have to depend on the media to get him returned.

Ok well either way ! lol =) If theres anything I can do to help with this page, let me know. I have thousands of myspace friends so im sure i can get the word out there quickly! Im sure you know how to search for groups in the area and get zekes page on there and post on those boards also maybe see if there is a group for the walmart in tracy so u can talk to the employees, and then try to add everyone in the entire area of tracy and modesto! I know ill continue with mine and finish it anyway.
