Las Vegas would be great - and even though it's hot in summer, they have indoor facilities - if it grew to convention size!

Another thought, in regards to distance, what if you split it to 2 meet-ups, East and West?

I would love to go!!!

I would ove to come to a meet up But I think it needs to be in a central location one tha in kinda in the middle of the US . that way people on one coast don't have to travel across the whole us to meet on the other . I would travel up to 10 hours.

YAY!!!! I'm back and had a GREAT time at the fair!!! I really was so happy to meet everyone!!!

I love the idea of planning a HUGE meet up. I think I would travel up to 10 hours.
My girls did EXELLENT on the car rides, I'm so blessed!!!!!

also a great idea... i guess i'd be taking care of East then... if someone is WEST and wants to take it on... be our guest

that would be so nice.. because i know we have TONS Of members on the west coast...

if someone IS willling to do a West meetup.. can you post on here or PM me... because if that happens it will change things a lot.. the east people could meet somewhere like ohio or indiana or kentucky (yes i have a map in front of me

) which are reall central for those on the east-central side)

Once you think you've got a location in mind, do a poll to see how many could make it THERE. Then start working on the details.

LOL, I just read this, sounds like the rented a large guest room...no, more like a banquet room!!!

i agree with you with the Dog Park.. not sure it is up there on MY list of places... because it could be a crowded day! i think we need a place that is just ours... maybe like a convention room of a hotel...a hotel that would hopefully have some grassy areas for outside play...

Yeah, and if we all brought our x-pens (as someone else mentioned) that could work out nicely.

great idea....I live in New Jersey but will travel as long as I can get to a pet friendly hotel and can go by car (don't like taking the 2 peanuts on the plane).

I would also like to mention that last summer we drove to Maryland and stayed at the Lowes Hotel....it is VERY pet friendly and Annapolis is a great pet friendly town. The Lowes in Maryland is reasonable $149 per night (when we went any way).

But of course will consider traveling to another location...can't tell now how far we wil go.

Course... Im gonna have to get my map out...

And if its driveable... V, ROAD TRIP! Grab the girls, I'll grab Sam... Ill bring some road trip tunes and off we will go!!!

I actually like the idea of a central location rather than east/west. There are lots of YT'ers on the other side that I'd miss out on meeting if it were sest up that way. KWIM?
