| Hi, am have Banfield, and I paid $137 to sign up and $21.00 a month, I took her a month later for shots paid nothing out of pocket, her spaying paid nothing out of pocket. Each time I have to take her for shots or when she had blood work done paid nothing. I love the plan. If I think she's not feeling good I take her and pay not a dime. And belive me I take her if I just think she's not feeling good. And I love the vets there. But thats just me. I think 21.00 a month for the services I get is great. How many time can you walk in to a vet office and come out with your money sitll in your pocket. |

I would call around and do a drop by another office before I would pay that price. I think soooo many vets love to just take the $$ right out of your pocket. My pups neuter, micro chip, 2 baby teeth extracted and follow up visit was $146. I understand spays are more but only additional $30. Good Luck!

| prices here are outrageous ... Quote:
I just had her at the vet for CBC and cytology, ear plucking <????> cPL, and office visit -(thatz $49.50 straight off) - for a total of $288.00 and just paid 30$ for a fecal sample today .... You are in a major city as well, so things are high. I was thinking of visiting a friend 4 hours north of here b/c i got a lower estimate ... but I can't justify the trip, the hotel and sticking around for a follow-up ... even if it does total $500.... High standard of living here ... OUCH!!!!

| BANDFIELD IS A JOKE ANDA A RIP OFF!! they are not operated by vets they are run by corporate men and women who have no education in vetinarian. they are extremely over priced and will double, triple, quarduple their prices. they charge twice for the same shot and every time you go back the prices have gone up! dont trust i dont! BANDFIELD SUCKS |

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | WOW - that IS alot. Here it is $320 total for a spay, anesthesia, teeth pulling, microchip, and heartworm test all done at the same time. The spay itself is $150 - anesthesia is $98 which brings the basic spaying itself to $248. Neuter ($30 less) is $120 + $98 anesthesia which brings the neutering itself to $218.

That's a whole lot. I live in Snellville, when I got Mollie spayed it was an emergency spay because she had an infection and with all that and 2 nights in the hospital it was a little over $300. I would call around and get some other prices. There is a place called spayga that you can call or they may even have a website. You can get certificates through them for around $50 I think it's been a while since I got one through them. Try this vet this is their website. I've had a couple of friends that have used them and they are extremely reasonable with everything. Good Luck and keep us posted. http://www.tracylanddvm.com/html/hours_map.html

| My vet, whom I love, was charging $530 for spay plus microchip. A friend recommended a spay and neuter clinic where they charged $65.00 plus $18.00 for pain meds. Since my friend was happy with them, I went there and was extremely pleased! The vet was this super nice older gentleman, who was very experienced and knew a lot about Yorkies. I spoke to 3 clients in the office who were very positive about their experiences as well. Other vets I asked said these types of clinics are great because they just do these surgeries all day long, so they are very good at them. They were very helpful and nice and I am so glad I saved over $400.00! Eventhough I had the money - why give it to them just because they set their prices high? I still use my regular vet for everything else.

| Before we got Maddie spayed we got 2 quotes for the procedure. One cost $400 and the other $500. I could afford that much...but barely. It would've really been a stretch. So instead, we went to the SPCA clinic in our area. It ended up costing about $150. |

| Hi, I didn't read anything here but the first post. That sounds a bit high to me personally considering I've had small dogs spayed for approximately 225 including meds and stay for the day. Follow-up visit has always been free. My vet is a reproductive specialist and is very hard to find in this area. I am very fortunate to have her and she has always had extremely fair prices. Her products/food are the same rate as most vet's but I'm now convinced she really offers fair prices considering what I've been reading here lately. I'd shop around if you have another good vet with references in your area! |
