well i dont think its fair to judge.. each state is sooo different. Plus, if you bought a dog for $2,000... I think it's pretty fair to go down to $600. I know she paid that much hoping she would be breeding quality, but she did not come out that way | |

| Each state is so different in price. She is beautiful and I think the price is a fair one. She is heathy and you know what your getting. Just because she is larger does not mean she is not of good quality! Buddy is 13lbs and he is beautiful, his bite is perfect and so are his ears perfect. Size has nothing to do with quality. Some are larger that's all! Good luck I don't think you will be dissapointed. Carol & Buddy |

| I honestlty think it all would depend on PERSONALITY. If I wanted a pet for children and it was small and mean ... I would say no way to $100 if the temperment is really good i would go for it

| If it's the right dog for you than the price seems reasonable. My goodness, I don't think that is too high, rescues can charge nearly that much! Plus, if people advertise their pets for much less they may end up in a home that doesn't want them as badly, just bought because it was cheap. If size isn't and issue and you aren't going to breed her, and if she seems like the right dog, I'd say go for it. (I may be a little partial, she reminds me a bit of my two). Good luck!

| If the breeder did actually pay that much for her, and her price is reasonable for dogs in the area, I say go for it. She'll be a wonderful size for a child, and she is beautiful. |

| I wouldnt think it is too much if she has all her shots, and spayed if you dont want to breed one. Time you buy a small one even for 600, time you get all that done youve pretty much got 1000 bucks sucked up. plus if she is trained, I dont know how much more people expect to get for 600. I say this because they actually dont depreciate in love value , like a car or something, just in size for the age and actually to me they actually appreciate as they age no older than this one is. If you want it, then go for it.

| I think it's a bit high IMO.. but I'm not one to talk considering all of my dogs have been from pet stores that had horrid quality and ridiculous prices. Bentley was my first and it was love at first sight at a pet store. I paid 1100 for a yorkie poodle cross. I had no idea then that I was getting ripped off or where puppies in pet stores came from. Emma was purchased from a couple that bred their jrt and yorkie every now and then. She's actually really healthy and has perfect teeth, ect. She was 250. Then I got involved in animal rescue and decided to never support a pet store or BYB again. My fiancee bought Lula as a Christmas present from a kennel because he thought they were different from a pet store. Anyhow! I think the price is a bit high.. if there's no one else interested I would see if she would possibly take a bit less. But if you really love her, go for it It's just money! |

| She sure is a cutie and at 9 months is still just a puppy without all the new puppy worries. You could also pay a lot more for a 3 month old puppy & it still grow to 10 lbs and ears not stand up. If it is for your daughter & gs, maybe they will have a better feel when they actually see her. Also, what are your/her other choices? That should also help you with your decision. Good luck |

| I think she's a beautiful dog and $600 to me isn't overpriced. She's healthy, a good size for children, and beauty is just icing on the cake. I don't mean this towards anyone particular but why isn't she worth $600?? Is it just because she doesn't meet some standards? I personally hate seeing some dogs being priced for alot of $$$ and I think this girl is worth just as much money as any other baby. I know we all have differen't opinions and I respect everyones but to me just because a yorkie doesn't fit into a particular look doesn't make her less special. I think this one is beautiful and wish you luck on your decision.

| I don't think $600 is too much especially if she is up to date on her shots (around here that would be about $200-$250). She is adorable, a good size for a child and housebroken -- that is a huge plus to me. If I had bought Gus for someone, I think they would have wanted to smack me for the gift I gave them. He was so hard to housebreak. If the breeder said she is good with children, I would get her.

| A 10 lb Yorkie Lexy Hi, My Yorkie is 10 pounds and she'll be 2 yrs old in April. I've been told that after a year they shouldn't grow any more. I do know that their hair changes to many colors for me, my dogs hair is still changing. Her face has basically stayed the same color but her back is now gray with some blonde in it. She actually is very pretty. I have attached a picture of Lexy so you could see her. Her ears were also down and I taped them and in a matter of a few days they were up. I think the price is reasonable because the dog is already housebroken which is a big deal and it's up to date on it's shots. I didn't have a hard time training Lexy but what I have heard from other people it could get bad Last edited by Lexy; 01-25-2007 at 11:25 AM. |
