| I'm Roxie's Grandma! Roxie is on day two in her new home with us in Lake Havasu! My daughter comes home from snow skiing today, so she hasn't gotten to meet Roxie. She can hardly stand the bus trip home. My daughter already started a MySpace for Roxie! Here is my daughter's MySpace link and you have to go to her friends and find Roxie's page: http://www.myspace.com/nayabug1 What's so cool is that my son gets to bond with Roxie first. What's neat about this is that our dog Prissy who died last year couldn't stand Ryan. But this dog LOVES Ryan. And she loves me. And she loves the house. She's SOOOOO happy. Roxie has the sweetest disposition of just about any dog I've ever met. Maybe she's still timid....we'll keep you posted! But honest to goodness after having had her for just over 24 hours, I can tell you I would have paid twice as much for her (as soon as that money tree in the back yard blooms!!) I would recommend the breeder, Alicia, to ANYONE. She LOVES her dogs and I will not hesitate to go back to her when we are ready for Roxie to have a companion. Thanks everyone for all the help. Now.....I need help with Potty Training! She won't go outside OR on her pad. Just on the tile so far!!! katie |

| She looks cute and she needs a good home. I don't think that price is too much as long as she is healthy. |

| Don't worry too much about the potty training. It just takes patience and time. Tile floors really help! My Ginger is getting more and more use to going outside instead of the pads.....perhaps training on both confuses her.

| Hi, She may get a little bigger, but for a child that is a good thing. I do not think that price is out of line. You have to remember that she should have had all her shots at this age which will save you a bundle( and has cost the breeder). I might try offering her $500.00. I think $500.00 would be a deal. | I am so so happy that everything worked out so well with the new puppy and especially that she loves your son so much! I'm so glad the breeder turned out to be a really caring one. She sounded good based on Dena's recommenation! She is so beautiful! I have a 13 lb. yorkie girl and she did take a little time to get potty trained but after she caught on, she NEVER potties or poops in the house. Never ever. She is so proud of herself when she potties and poops outside because she knows she is a good dog. She is really smart. Just hang in there and I'm hoping you will have the same experience. Just be sure to praise her a lot when she potties or poops outside or on the pee pad. Welcome to YT and I can't wait to see more pics of Roxie!

Hello Elaine, I decided to join Yorkie Talk and fumbled onto the thread on the dog I sold for $600. I wouldn't lie about what I paid for the dog and I bought three of her dogs for breeding. One dog was $1,000 at 4 years of age and the two Ruby and Roxie $2,000 a piece. I just looked at some papers I had and realized that she had given me $200 off so I paid $1800 they have champion and the lady I bought her from is a breeder in Texas from Yorkie Doodle Kennels. I felt a little offended by the remark but realize it was your opinion. The lady I bought her from bought her dogs from a lady in Albuquerque who shows dogs so they were sold to Yorkie Doodle to get her started. I would not be able to afford one from the lady in Albuquerque as they are way in the thousand range. I plan on making a copy of the pedigree papers to send to Katie so she can see that she has a dog with champion lineage which is a lot of reds versus my small 3 1/2 pound male who is cute with ears standing up and has not one champion in a 5 year pedigree history from AKC. Roxie is also AKC registered too and microchipped. Just thought I would follow up as the remarks were a little hurtful especially when I am an honest breeder and wouldn't have to lie to sell my dogs. God Bless You. | |

| What's most important here is that Roxie has found a great new home with a family who is THRILLED to have her. She has a great disposition and we believe she's worth every penny we paid!
