| ![]() If I had a llama and a dog was attacking it I would shoot the dog in a heartbeat as would many that have livestock. I wouldnt hang the body over a fence but the dog would be dead. It is the owners responsibility to control their dog not everyone else

| ![]() That is why he need to do the interview. Let people know if he even tried to correct the problems and let people in to see his kennel if he has nothing to hide. If he doesnt then people are going to assume the worst. Kinda like someone accused of murder, if he decides to not testify on his behalf even tho that is his right, it looks like he has something to hide by keeping quiet. That is just my take on it. |

| ![]() I'm not trying to say I wouldn't shoot the dog if it was attacking my animals .. I am just agreeing with you saying its not right to hang it on the fence...

| ![]() I know nothing about Brush Creek so my comments are pointed to irresponsible breeding practices. I think there are two distinct issues being brought up here. 1. what is a breeders responsbility in regards to a sick pup but more importantly 2. breeding practices that lead to a large percentage of health issues Ginger came from a not-so-reputable breeder (no, I didn't do my research) and has had many minor (thank god) health issues as have her siblings from the same litter. My vet (and another) more or less explained to us that a lot of the problems she is having arise when breeders indiscriminately breed dogs without taking into account their history, breed fathers to daughters, brother to sisters, etc... To me, more important than the 4 or 5 people who are speaking up here is what type of breeding practices is this man employing??? Many health issues can be foreseen when irresponsible breeding practices are employed. Many of those same issues are avoided by responsible practices. Worms don't come from bad breeding, but hip displasia (sp), allergies, heart disease, etc., do.

I am pretty new to the boards but remember reading about a scammer that came here. She was posting sob stories on how she was going to lose everything. She was selling I believe dog treats to raise some money. Some posters here just simply sent a donation. Others ordered from her and helped out that way. In the end, only a small percent actually got what they ordered or a refund. The rest were simply scammed. So talk to all the ones she scammed and I am sure you will hear a completely different story from the ones that actually rec'd something. That's a fact of life.

| ![]() For some reason I keep finding myself over hear reading this. One I keep having to defend myself, for sticking up for the place I bought my babies from, and the other to let everyone know I am not woth Brushy Creek. I am not with Brushy Creek. I bought 2 Yorkies from them,my babies are in great health. I have offered to go out to the kennel and look. The thing is, how do I know it is a bad kennel? I have no clue what it is suppose to look like? Can someone find me pictures to compare it with? Then I will find the time to go out there. I will let you know what it looked like compared to any pictures you find me. That is all I can do to help. |

I have had/been at (unrelated) events were the news coverage was somewhat sparse and not exactly 100 % what happened. I always relate it to the game we use to play in school where someone is told a story and then they are suppose to pass it on to the next person and so on until it gets to the last person who finally tells the butchered story to the whole class. As I always remember it the story was way off from when it started. But we will just have to see how FOX does and how this whole thing plays out its been fun talking about it anyway. Even though I have been accused of playing many parts in this whole thing! lol

I just wanted to add "breeding practices" That include importing a majority of the dogs being sold (100's) from other counties just makes the risk larger. How can you be sure what dogs are being bred? If they are related ect. In my opinion you cant really call yourself a breeder if these are your standard practice.

Think about the situation with your llamas. Let's say this pit bull continuously came back to attack your llamas time and time again - each time killing 1 llama. Say you spoke to the owner of the dog and he said "I wasn't there, I can't do anything" and never restrained his dog. After killing off all your llamas the news comes to do a story. Would you want interviews of neighbors saying "oh the pitbull was such a sweet dog - he would never do anything to harm another animal! dobiedude never should have killed him!"? There is always going to be a satisfied customer - lots of them. But when the point of the story is the breeding practices and multiple sick/dead dogs with no resolution, the happy customers do not come in to play. What would interviewing a happy customer accomplish? Valbholmes could tell her story of how she received two healthy puppies, but what would that do? It's kind of a null point. Interviewing Mr. Moore would accomplish something. It would let him defend himself and his breeding practices and allow him to explain how many satisfied customers he has. See what I mean?
