How could I have missed this thread all this time. Man I love a good debate.

I need to back and read the whole thing so I can see where the mud slinging started.

Just to add my 2 cents. Anyone who has dogs caged up in filthy conditions needs to be caged up themselves.

When you cage an animal it is your responsibility to see that all of it's needs are taken care of. Any one who does less than that is not fit to walk free.

This is close to my own back yard so I have alot of interest in this matter.

Shooting the dog was one thing, hanging him on the fence was totally sick and insensitive, not only to the owner but to anyone else, inclucing children, who may have seen it.

I can actually say, that if I ever need to buy another dog, it will be from Brushy Creek. I hope that i do not actually get a sick one, but it could happen. Actually it could happen from any where. I am actually very lucky I am not a first time dog owner, cause I do know to make my kids wash there hands before playing with the puppy, I know to keep the floors clean, I know to clean up with bleach and soap water. Those are the things you do when you bring a new baby in the house, human, or canine. There are so many things that can happen if you do not. Maybe that is why my babies have had no problems.

We're talking about puppies here, puppies that eat everything including dog poop. I don't even clean my floors with bleach for my grand babies. They crawl around on the same floor that my puppies do.

P.S. I don't let the kids eat the dog poop.

I have to say that none of this surprises me. Why, even with our blood children, their best needs aren't always met. I know of children that have been in abusive situations that have been returned to the same abusive home in order to 'preserve the family unit' and that is in Texas. I also know of children that have been in the system due to abuse and have been sent back home to receive more abuse and eventually die from it. So the fact that we cannot manage to do what is best for our animals is not shocking when compared. Shameful, yes. Disgusting, yes. Shocking, no.

Excellent point. When "the system" allows HUMAN CHILDREN to live in the conditions that some of them live in, how can we be surprised that these mills are allowed to continue. When our laws are so inadequate, it's really no bragging point to say, "I pass inspections, and am above the law".

Whether we're talking about children or animals, LAWS shouldn't be our guidelines for their love and care....conscience, common sense, and compassion should be.

No it was not sick and insensitive it was real too bad you can't see that. Have you ever been in the country? Have you ever seen coyotes hung from the fence? And what if children were too see the dog what do you think it would do to them? Did it hurt their feelings? No it is reality. As a responsible pet owner you should insure your pet is properly cared for and contained.

I will not say sorry for being happy with Brushy Creek. i am no longer going to defend myself, my babies, or Brushy Creek. It is very obvious you want to be mean to them and me!

Thats ok they just jump on you first here and ask questions later. All I did was ask a simple question to the person who started this thread and look where it got me.

Maybe if you learn anything out of this, you have to take care of people after the sale. People wouldnt turn you in to the rip off report if they would have gotten a fair shake I am pretty sure. All I have to go by is what I read on here and what I see are people that felt they were wronged and you making your little comments to them. If you were me, who would you choose to believe?

I have read the posts at Rip Off Report and all the post here it seems to me like we are talking about 4 or 5 people so far that have had a bad experience is that a fair thing to say? If its not please let me see the others. Like you said above "there are people out there that you just cant please no matter how hard you try". I believe Mr. Moore said he has hundreds of sales a year? if that is so then that is a very low amount in my opinion. I do not know how the transactions took place and neither does anyone else on this site except for the people involved. I read that Woofsheapard said he/she had a lawyer involved? What was the outcome? That is another piece of the puzzle.

They are NOT investigating happy dog stories, there are a million of them ... if any breeder lets ONE sick dog be sold and not taken care of by them prior to the sale ... that is ONE too many.

Well lets see we live in the real world (at least I do) and People and Animals do get sick so you are very unrealistic to believe that ALL dogs will be healthy even the best breeders regardless of size have sick dogs and have sold sick dogs. Not to mention if a contract was signed and if either party did not make good on it then yes there is a problem. Thats what I want too see. What if the people complaining on here did not live up to their end of the agreement? Just a question.

I have to respect the fact that Mr. Moore came to tell his side of the story, as well as those who have had good experiences with the kennel. But he has yet to address all the complaints about sick puppies, unanswered calls, vet bills, ripoff reports, etc. I know puppies can get sick, like any living thing, but it seems to happen way to often in this case, as with all puppy mills. If they keep the kennel as clean as they say, great. But there's still a problem if all these sick puppies are leaving the place, and I just can't believe they all got sick after going home.
