You have a beautiful dog, and like you, I don't care if my dog is a Yorkie or a Biewer. You love that gift that is now a part of your family. The breeder sounds like he/she will do nothing but cause drama and problems for you and your family if you persue the issue with this person. Is it worth it? It will not change anything for you and your family. You want to spend the money on the DNA test "for your piece of mind". In the end, why does it matter? Unless you are going to persue the issue with the person you've already had to call the police on, right? I honestly do not think that your sincere efforts to protect others from being scammed by the breeder will make this breeder stop based on what the police told you. You have a good heart. A beautiful dog. And it doesn't sound like you like drama... Just my 2 cents | |

| ![]() Biewer Terriers have been accepted into the FSS of the AKC. The board voted in the April meeting. Only BTRA registrations will be accepted. |

| ![]() Hi, and welcome, I'm a noob myself. To Yorkies and to this amazing forum that is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to all things Yorkshire Terrier. Sorry to say but absolutely she shouldn't shed if she's Biewer or Yorkie as both breeds are hypoallergenic and their "fur" (if you wanna call it that) is really more closely related to hair than fur. They do loose some their hairs, like when you're grooming them for example, but it's more like hair falling out rather than shedding (think of it as being like your own hair that comes out here and there). Jack Russell's on the other hand do shed quite a bit so your suspicion of her being part Jack Russell looks and sounds right on. Plus like you said, she wouldn't be so defensive if she had nothing to hide. Edit: just want to add that she is adorable no matter what she is. I'm sure you love her no matter what her adorableness would be hard not to fall for, lol. Last edited by SarahBear1986; 04-25-2014 at 05:53 PM. |

YT Addict | ![]() She is adorable. She has the biewer coloring characteristics (white color, black on tail with white tip), white chest, upright ears, white paws, etc. I agree on the jack russel face. Biewers have more of a rounded/squared face not oval. Good luck - Maybe you could ask her for a photo of the parents? |
