Hi, and welcome, I'm a noob myself. To Yorkies and to this amazing forum that is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to all things Yorkshire Terrier. Sorry to say but absolutely she shouldn't shed if she's Biewer or Yorkie as both breeds are hypoallergenic and their "fur" (if you wanna call it that) is really more closely related to hair than fur. They do loose some their hairs, like when you're grooming them for example, but it's more like hair falling out rather than shedding (think of it as being like your own hair that comes out here and there). Jack Russell's on the other hand do shed quite a bit so your suspicion of her being part Jack Russell looks and sounds right on. Plus like you said, she wouldn't be so defensive if she had nothing to hide.

Edit: just want to add that she is adorable no matter what she is. I'm sure you love her no matter what her adorableness would be hard not to fall for, lol.
