The police asked me to document everything and if I notice anything out of the ordinary (such as slashed tires, etc) to come in and file a report on her. He told me I could report her to the CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) but to be careful about posting her name online as she could come after me with a civil suit. It makes my heart hurt to know that there are these hateful kinds of people out there who are using animals, the innocent victims who have no voice, to satisfy their own greed...and continue to get away with it! So, even though it goes against my inner need to bring accountability to those who are dishonest and cheat people, I will run a DNA for my own peace of mind, but will not play with bullies, will let this go and just be thankful that I got to be this little girls mama!! In the end...I'm the winner cuz I've got the worlds cutest, craziest and naughtiest but sweetest little whatchamacallit breed!!
I'm new here, so maybe I shouldn't post again... I understand your anger at being lied to and ripped off - the principle of it is infuriating.
You have a beautiful dog, and like you, I don't care if my dog is a Yorkie or a Biewer. You love that gift that is now a part of your family.

The breeder sounds like he/she will do nothing but cause drama and problems for you and your family if you persue the issue with this person. Is it worth it? It will not change anything for you and your family.

You want to spend the money on the DNA test "for your piece of mind". In the end, why does it matter? Unless you are going to persue the issue with the person you've already had to call the police on, right?
I honestly do not think that your sincere efforts to protect others from being scammed by the breeder will make this breeder stop based on what the police told you.

You have a good heart. A beautiful dog. And it doesn't sound like you like drama...

Just my 2 cents
