Donating YT 3000 Club Member | This is a very hard decision but I had put all my trust in my breeder. If this is happening to me, IMO, I would call her bluff. If she gives me back the money and I have to give back the pup I would be sad and heartbroken but I would let it be done. I have been taken advantage before because of a kitten and I will not let that happen again. All I got was a large bill and a dead kitten. Sorry to be so forward but I do not want what happen to me happen to anyone else. God luck in your decision. (( big hugs ))

BTW, Amy did you pay with a credit card? I am assuming the transaction was done online bc it was out of state, so must have been a card? Was it a credit card or debit card? If it was a credit card, you may want to contact your credit card company. Many offer guarantees that the place you bought from doesn't cover. It's worth a shot.

| It's good to have all of the medical, legal, and logical information so that Amy can make an informed decision. Unfortunately, this is a heartbreaking one no matter what she decides. She loves little Zoey, wants to protect her from harm, and be there to watch her grow up. She is being cheated here. Amy, I hope you are able to reach a favorable resolutions toon with the breeder.

| So sorry about your pup. Did you get a health contract? Open fontenels are a congenital & hereditary disease. Your breeder also needs to pull the parents from her breeding program & spay & neuter them both unless she can find out which is carrying the faulty gene. My friend has a 5 yr old Chi w/an OF that never closed fully. She has a soft spot a size of a dime. Other than that, she's very healthy & lives a normal life.

| This breeder is a true byb. Amy, I'm going to go against the grain. Don't give her back, if you do she will surly put her down. I personally don't think you would anyway. You can fight for your rights and hound her to death for your money, you may or may not get it back; however, this pup has one chance and your it. This is not a pup you have had for a day, you have had her for some time. You will, like many of us who have been through the same things, get through this, that pup needs you.

| Also I would never tell anyone I told you so, this is not what I want for anyone or any pup. My hope is that like me and many others here you now have learned and understand how important it is NOT to deal with byb's. I care about Zoey and you and I know you will do what is right by her. There are byb's everywhere, you've been afforded a ton of info on how to avoid them now. Next time, and I know there will be one , go armed with the knowledge you have gotten here, just remember they are everywhere, they are even here, so don't trust anyone unless they meet the criteria that so many here have selflessly shared and offered to you.
