Yeah, I agree. I am sure she said that bc she is not banking on the OP wanting to give back the dog. But think about it this way, if op never found that breeder or bought that puppy, she would still have the money and no pup. If you give her back and get your money back, you have the money and no pup.

BTW, Amy did you pay with a credit card? I am assuming the transaction was done online bc it was out of state, so must have been a card? Was it a credit card or debit card? If it was a credit card, you may want to contact your credit card company. Many offer guarantees that the place you bought from doesn't cover. It's worth a shot.
