| Tiny & non-shedding fit my lifestyle. I love that I'm able to groom my pups myself. I can't see myself with anything but a Yorkie or a mix with Yorkie.

| When I lost my very first Yorkie (Spencer) back in 1996, I swore I didn't want another Yorkie. I looked and looked for another breed, but it just wasn't in me. I am a Yorkie person.

| I have owned all the breeds I love...German Shepherds, Afghan Hounds, Basset Hound, Tibetan Terrier. I think of the Yorkie as being a miniature Afghan Hound...a little smaller! lol! I also love the Bernese Mountain Dog.

♥Love My 3 Furrbutts♥ Donating Member | I have had a Lhasa Apso, Shih Tzu, Labrador, GSD, and a Sheltie....now two yorkies and a Biewer...I think my next may be a maltese....or maybe another Biewer.....right now three is enough, but only time will tell... I prefer small, non shed...My three bigger dogs shed like mad and it drove me crazy...i'm a bit of a neat freak...cant stand clumps of hair everywhere....great dogs, but allergies wont allow me to have a dog that sheds now.

| Ever since I saw and got Scotty years ago, it's been all Yorkies for me! I may one day add a larger dog for protection sometime but have no plans to get another breed anytime soon. No other breed is so easy to manage, live with or quite as fun as the smart little Yorkie. I just love that face, that spirit and that compact size.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I have had several types over the years. I would have to say the toy type of dog would be for me. I will get another Yorkie, another short red haired Dachshund and I would love a Biewer. I had never even heard of them until I joined YT. So, I'm starting my research. My DH loves the German Shepherd breed. I'm sure we will have another in our family sometime in the next year or two. I will say that they are wonderful dogs. Julia thinks she is a 10 lb lap dog in a 70 lb body.

| I have some breathing problems as well as my Grandma has COPD so I have to have a "hypoallergenic dog" the only one I knew was a yorkie so that's why I got Callie I did absolutely no research. She works great for me and I love the attitude but her size is also what makes her perfect not sure I could see my self owning a dog smaller then her but I just really love the yorkie attitude so I am sure it will happen sooner or later lol. I love labs though If I could take the dander and hair I would have a lab or golden retriever. Callie also seems to prefer bigger dogs lol

| Confirmed yorkie girl here!!! Until 2 years ago when Chuck brought P-Nut home, I wasn't a dog person at all and had never had one as an adult. Now I'm yorkie-obsessed, but neutral (at best, lol) about most other breeds. We adopted yorkie #2 in May and would love to rescue a 3rd yorkie someday... getting a different breed has never come up in our house. |

| We have 7 dogs only one is a yorkie. I have to say that I love all dogs. I even like Pits if they aren't mean. I always wanted a big dog so we got two basset hounds when we bought our house. Then I discovered I like smaller dogs so we got a shorkie, then we got Zach our only yorkie. From there it was Oliver and Basil our two shih tzus and finally we got Biscuit our Chihuahua/jack russel mix. So you can see I love all dogs. |

| I've always wanted a yorkie sense I was a child. So as far as small dogs, I think I'll always have one from here on out. I also really love large dogs, could see myself with a few of the breeds when I'm older most and have a more spacious place.

| My breed is the American Pit Bull Terrier. I will always have at least one in my home. Probably more. I really enjoy showing them in conformation. I love my Bayleigh and she makes me want a purebred Yorkshire Terrier. Because, let's face it, they're just so darn cute! But I don't know enough about the breed to know if my dog is typical. She's my ideal dog temperament and personality. My dream dog even (if she were just a bit bigger she'd be absolutely perfect). I find myself browsing Petfinder a lot. And when one of the shelters near me took in a bunch of puppy mill dogs, I almost went and got one. But I don't know if I'd actively seek out a Yorkie. I definitely wouldn't have if Bayleigh hadn't come into my life. I tend to like medium to large active dogs. APBTs and Great Danes are my top two favorite breeds. I'll definitely have another (senior rescue) Great Dane or two sometime in the future. I also want an Australian Kelpie someday but that's not going to happen anytime soon. I like having a random little dog. They're just so much easier. Easier to transport, easier with most things.

| I have had many breeds of dogs, but I can honestly say my Trinket has stolen my heart. I think Yorkies are my breed. |

YT Addict | I was big time Dachshund person, but after allergies became worse, I think we will be staying with Yorkie or Yorkie crosses. My Uncle and Aunt adopted a set of Yorkie sisters (a lady had to get rid of them due to economic issues), my mother has her Yorkie-poo, needless to say we are becoming converts in this family. Plus my grandma is not allergic so they can go visit her, which brings her so much joy |

| When dh and I started discussing a dog, I wanted and still want a yellow lab. I love their loyalty and playfulness. I wanted a bigger dog more for security I guess. I love my yorkies and cannot see my life without them. I wouldn't mind having both, lab and yorkie.
