| I can never remember a time I have not had at least one dog.I don't think "a breed" is as important to me as much as personality and brains… I do prefer highly intelligent dog, with lots of go!!!!!Its just getting past the puppy stage with these guys thats the problem..currently I have a Aussie…that is so wonderful..he is extremely careful of the yorkies and the word tolerant…doesn't even begin to describe how much abuse he takes from his sibling . He seems to understand they are delicate and he can't play with them even when they beg him to. Before I had the Aussie, I had a mixed breed that was also highly intelligent …now I'm hooked on brains…ergo YORKIES!!!!!

| I love yorkies but working at the shelter and having a mix I am open. I think I mostly fall in love with the personality. The cuteness doesn't hurt either ![]() I would like a bigger dog next, if I could have anything I would love for a 2 yr old(at least- never doing puppy again!) male red and white Shiba Inu to walk into the shelter but that probably won't happen so I will be open to the right fit in whatever package it may come in

| I'm a yorkie girl all the way. Uni is my first dog. I grew up with cats. So although I love all breeds of dogs, I really gravitate towards those that have very soft hair. Yorkie hair isn't much like a cat's in length, but in softness yes. I just can't snuggle up all night in dog hair that's short and pokey. Plus yorkies don't shed. I would be open to other long haired non shedding dogs, but I love the plucky temperament of yorkies.

| I like any and all dogs! I love having a big dog and a little dog. I have GORKIEs right now. My golden thinks he is a yorkie and my yorkies think they are goldens! I would love to get a Great Dane or Leonberger someday.

| I love all dogs! In fact I used to have German Shepherds. I started getting into Yorkies when my husband bought me one as an engagement gift. We had seen a family of Yorkies on the beach and we fell in love with them. Now as i've gotten older I really love having smaller dogs like Yorkies because I find them so easy to take care of- smaller messes, use pee pads, very portable, no undercoat meaning no excess hair all over. Can take them just about anywhere we go. But I have to admitt nothing will get to my husband & I like an adorable Yorkie!
