My breed is the American Pit Bull Terrier. I will always have at least one in my home. Probably more. I really enjoy showing them in conformation.

I love my Bayleigh and she makes me want a purebred Yorkshire Terrier. Because, let's face it, they're just so darn cute! But I don't know enough about the breed to know if my dog is typical. She's my ideal dog temperament and personality. My dream dog even (if she were just a bit bigger she'd be absolutely perfect).

I find myself browsing Petfinder a lot. And when one of the shelters near me took in a bunch of puppy mill dogs, I almost went and got one. But I don't know if I'd actively seek out a Yorkie. I definitely wouldn't have if Bayleigh hadn't come into my life.

I tend to like medium to large active dogs. APBTs and Great Danes are my top two favorite breeds. I'll definitely have another (senior rescue) Great Dane or two sometime in the future. I also want an Australian Kelpie someday but that's not going to happen anytime soon. I like having a random little dog. They're just so much easier. Easier to transport, easier with most things.
